The Steeling the Mind Conference will be in Coeur d'Alene March 15, and it looks like it will sell out again... join us if you can for this amazing day.
Those who've been to this conference know it's a fun day of incredible Bible teaching by the top Christians from around the country. The room is always full of anticipation as sold-out-for-the-Lord Believers energize the room.
It would be quite a sight if the Rapture happened at the Steeling conference! I'm guessing the room would be empty except for what was left behind—empty imploded clothes (finally a reason that makes sense to wear clean underwear), rings, jewelry, wallets, car keys, false teeth, steel hips, stents, false eyelashes, fake breast implants, wigs, fingernail extensions, and a lot of Bibles that have 1Cor. 15:51-52 underlined!
And we won't notice because we'll be in the presence of Jesus before the last false eyelash hits the floor.
Those living today are likely to see this happen. We have a good chance of not dying an earthly death...rather...just disappearing straight to heaven. It's happened before, ask Elijah or John.(1) It WILL happen and the Church Age WILL end at God's appointed time.
Fun to think about.

Who were Biblically the most accurate?
And Jesus said to them, “Watch out and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.” Matt. 16:6
When Jesus walked on the earth there were two major, and one minor, political parties. The two major parties, the Pharisees and the Sadducees, made up the majority of the 70-member supreme court of Israel, called the Sanhedrin.
Several Herodians (lawyers) and Temple Priests also served in the Sanhedrin. Being a member in the Sanhedrin was like being a U.S. Senator today—the position came with power, prestige and social privileges.
There were over 6,000 Pharisees and half again as many followers. Most were what we refer to today as “legalists.”
For instance, the Pharisees would stop to pray three times a day—9 AM, 12 PM and 3 PM. Many piously walked to the Temple to do their praying to be closer to the Lord.
To make sure people noticed their walking back and forth, they sewed small bells on the hem of their robes. Of course, only the High Priest was supposed to wear the bells, but egos apparently prevailed (Ex. 28:33-35).
Then the Lord said, “Because this people draw near with their words and honor Me with their lip service, but they remove their hearts far from Me, and their reverence for Me consists of tradition learned by rote..." Is. 29:13
The Pharisees and Sadducees both believed the Torah, but the Pharisees also believed in oral tradition. The Sadducees insisted on a literal interpretation of Scripture. So you can see why they were always at each other’s throats.
The biggest difference in doctrine was the Pharisees believed in the afterlife and the Sadducees did not. If you’ve not heard it, an often-repeated way to remember the Sadducees—“That’s why they were so sad-you-see.”
Paul, a Pharisee, used the Saducees' belief to his advantage when he was before the Jewish Council:
But perceiving that one group were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, Paul began crying out in the Council, “Brethren, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees; I am on trial for the hope and resurrection of the dead!” As he said this, there occurred a dissension between the Pharisees and Sadducees, and the assembly was divided. For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, nor an angel, nor a spirit, but the Pharisees acknowledge them all.
And there occurred a great uproar; and some of the scribes of the Pharisaic party stood up and began to argue heatedly, saying, “We find nothing wrong with this man; suppose a spirit or an angel has spoken to him?” And as a great dissension was developing, the commander was afraid Paul would be torn to pieces by them and ordered the troops to go down and take him away from them by force, and bring him into the barracks. Acts 23:6-10
The Sadducees tried to get Jesus to agree with them regarding their belief in no afterlife. Jesus answered:
... “You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels in heaven. But regarding the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God: ‘I AM THE GOD OF ABRAHAM, AND THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB’? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.” Matt. 22:29-32
So both the Pharisees and the Sadducees had points of doctrine that were incorrect. And they both missed the numerous Old Testament verses that plainly state their Messiah must first come, suffer, and die for their sins.
Isaiah 53 would be hard to miss... especially this verse:
Surely our griefs He Himself bore, and our sorrows He carried; Yet we ourselves esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.But He was pierced through for our transgressions, He was crushed for our iniquities; The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him, And by His scourging we are healed. Is. 53:4-5
But the Essenes, the small third group of theocratic leaders, DID in fact believe that the Messiah must come, suffer, and die for their sins.
This group separated themselves from the rest of Israel, living down near present-day Qumran on the northwestern edge of the Dead Sea.
Flavius Josephus, a historian who lived in the generation just after Jesus’ crucifixion, 37 AD to 100 AD, described the three groups this way:
“There are three philosophical sects among the Jews. The followers of the first of which are the Pharisees; of the second, the Sadducees; and the third sect, which pretends to a severer discipline, are called Essenes.”
They were, shall we say, sold out to their God and desired to live 
for Him. Many believe John the Baptist was one of the Essenes.
Most of the Essenes didn’t marry because they believed women would pull them away from totally serving the Lord. No wonder it was a small group.
Most of the Dead Sea Scrolls discovered in 1947-1952 were from the library of the Essenes, buried just ahead of the Roman army coming for the last few undefeated Jews holding out at nearby Masada.
Interestingly, it was the Essenes to whom God entrusted the “Copper Scroll”(1) that was found buried amongst the Dead Sea Scrolls. This is the only metal scroll found, and it contained the list of Solomon’s treasures buried by Jeremiah ahead of being conquered by the Babylonians.
Religious divisions are noted all through the Bible. Paul and John Mark split up in Cyprus. Paul and Barnabas also had a sharp disagreement and parted ways (Acts 15:36-41).
Disagreements come about because humans are fallible. Thankfully the Lord gave us this verse that says it's ok to debate scripture and its meanings:
As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another. Proverbs 27:17

IN has at least six captive subsidiaries under unrelated names including one based out of the Cayman Islands. Since 2008, when electronic records begin, more than 95% of IN's budget has been supplied by the US government.
