I, like many others, was duped throughout my lifetime with the notion that salt was bad. The Big pHarma-controlled physicians and media constantly referred to salt as being a terrible thing to consume.
I found myself consciously and subconsciously avoiding salt as much as possible.
But my wife, Susie, pointed out to me that the Bible totally contradicts avoiding salt with the point-blank statement in Mark:
Salt is good; Mark 9:50
Luke 14:34 says the same thing… salt is good. Our docs say one thing, God says another. Guess who's correct? God, of course!
The Bible has a lot of positive things to say about the use of salt. First note that there are three main Hebrew words that we translate to “salt” in the English—
“mlechah,” - a desert or barren land
A fruitful land into a salt waste, Psa. 107:34a
“melach,” pulverize / powder.
But [Lot's] wife…looked back and she became a pillar of salt. Gen. 19:26b
“malach.” - pulverize / rub/season with salt.
He said, “Bring me a new jar, and put salt in it.” 2Kings 2:20
And in the Greek, salt simply means “salt” in most cases.
Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, Col. 4:6
Here are some interesting uses of the word "salt" in the Bible…
God requires every grain offering to be properly salted.
Every grain offering of yours, moreover, you shall season with salt, so that the salt of the covenant of your God shall not be lacking from your grain offering; with all your offerings you shall offer salt. Lev. 2:13
God ties salt to an “acceptable sacrifice.”
Whatever is needed, both young bulls, rams, and lambs for a burnt offering to the God of heaven, and wheat, salt, wine and anointing oil, as the priests in Jerusalem request, it is to be given to them daily without fail, that they may offer acceptable sacrifices to the God of heaven Ezra 6:9-10a
When King Cyrus of Persia sent the items looted from the Jewish Temple back to Jerusalem, he also sent any items Ezra the priest needed to reestablish Jewish sacrifices, specifically mentioning as much salt as needed (Ezra 7:21-23).
God even ties salt to His everlasting covenant with the Jews.
All the offerings of the holy gifts, which the sons of Israel offer to the LORD, I have given to you and your sons and your daughters with you, as a perpetual allotment. It is an everlasting covenant of salt before the LORD to you and your descendants with you. Num. 18:19
Do you not know that the LORD God of Israel gave the rule over Israel forever to David and his sons by a covenant of salt? 2Chr. 13:5
God uses salt to cure the bitter waters at the Jericho spring
Somewhere in the short distance between Jericho and the Jordan River (about 3.5 miles, see map above) there was a spring, but in the time of both Elijah and Elisha the prophets, the water was bitter, causing barrenness.
This problem of children dying in the area went all the way back to when Joshua conquered Jericho and cursed anyone trying to rebuild the city with the loss of his firstborn son and his youngest son.
Then Joshua made them take an oath at that time, saying, “Cursed before the LORD is the man who rises up and builds this city Jericho; with the loss of his firstborn he shall lay its foundation, and with the loss of his youngest son he shall set up its gates.” Josh. 6:26(3)
So just after Elijah went to heaven in his unidentified flying object, the people asked Elisha to cure the barrenness of the women who lived in the area.
Then the men of the city said to Elisha, “Behold now, the situation of this city is pleasant, as my lord sees; but the water is bad and the land is unfruitful [barren].” 2Kings 2:19
He said, “Bring me a new jar, and put salt in it.” So they brought it to him. He went out to the spring of water and threw salt in it and said, “Thus says the LORD, ‘I have purified these waters; there shall not be from there death or unfruitfulness [barrenness] any longer.’” 2Kings 2:20-22
God cured the bitter waters by telling Elisha to put salt in the waters. This stopped the miscarriages, restoring life.
This was Elisha’s first miracle as a prophet of God, who filled Elijah’s shoes after he was taken to heaven in that unidentified flying object.
This may be a foreshadowing picture of Jesus saving us by putting His Spirit, His Salt, in our sinful bodies. Just a thought.
Salt is a Preservative
Around the world, and especially in the Middle East, salt is used as a preservative for meat and fish. But salt was scarce in most places.
But post-flood, the Lord arranged for Israel to have plenty of salt from the nearby Dead Sea. Actually, the Bible calls it the “Salt Sea.”
Israel has so much salt that they export tons of it around the world... including to the United States and Russia.(1)
Now, back to my incorrectly avoiding salt all these years… there's a great two-minute video by Dr. Bryan Ardis talking about the lies Big pHarma has spread about salt over the decades.
It was an Instagram post(2), which may have disappeared. But here is a close transcription of that excellent short video.
If you have a heart attack today, or have stroke-level high blood pressure, and you called an ambulance, do you know the first thing they will inject inside of you in the ambulance on the way to the hospital?
Without ever talking to a doctor they will inject you with saline. Do you know what saline is? Saline is 9,000 mg of salt in a bag of water.
And if you have extremely high blood pressure at stroke level, they will give you two bags of saline in what they call a “push.”
They will push 18,000 mg of salt into your body and guess what happens …your blood pressure starts coming down.
Your kidneys are what release water out of the body. The kidneys operate with what are called water sodium potassium pumps.
What’s another word for sodium? Salt!
So you have salt potassium pumps that are required in your kidneys to pump out water.
What happens when we start depriving ourselves of salt? (Usually due to our doctors telling us to eat less salt…that we need to be on a low sodium diet.) Then our kidneys don’t get the salt they need and we will start retaining water.
And as we retain water, there’s now increased pressure on our blood vessels and guess what the majority of Americans are put on? Diuretics like Lasix to make you pee.
Do you know what Lasix is? It’s patented salt. They want you to swallow their prescription salt in a tablet form ...this is why they don’t want you eating it in your food.
It’s one of the greatest lies in medicine.

So we find yet another lie from Big pHarma ...that salt is bad. They treat us with the very thing they are telling us to avoid!
This is similar to what Big pHarma has done with aspirin. They couldn't make money off pure aspirin so they've come up with their own substitutes with profit margins. They vilify aspirin with a constant barrage of lies.
I've mentioned before that after my heart attack two years ago they had me on a drug called Eliquis costing around $750 a month (out of pocket). I first found I could buy it from Canadian pharmacies for about $125 a month.
(President Trump has recently signed a directive that drugs sold in the U.S. must not be priced higher than what is paid in other countries.)
And finally, after some pointed discussions with my heart doc, he finally admitted I could just take baby aspirin which works just as well.
God promises salt is good, even positively linking it to humans.
You are the salt of the earth; Matt. 5:13
Salt turns out to be critical for our bodies to function. The Bible even says:
…Have salt in yourselves… Mark 9:50b
So the Lord gave us salt as a good thing. Don’t buy the lie that it’s bad for you. But this is NOT medical advice. Just sharing what the Bible says!

He said by restricting use of COVID-19 vaccines the government had taken a big step in making America healthier again! What does that mean? More COVID-19 vaccination was making America unhealthy? Less vaccination is healthier? Would no COVID-19 vaccination be healthiest?
And why for Pete's sake do they want to give the poison to the sickest kids and the oldest citizens? Hmmmm....

President Trump is cutting waste, over $100 billion so far. When DOGE is finished, they hope to find $200 billion to cut. Our country was being financially raped by evil people.
But let's think about this fact — $200 billion is only a drop in the deficit bucket. This year we're paying roughly $1 trillion in interest on the national debt.
Last year we paid $881 billion in interest. In 2020 it was $345 billion.
In 2025 alone, the US needs to borrow around $10.9 trillion. Borrow, just to pay bills.
Roughly $1.9 trillion of that is new borrowing to cover this year’s budget deficit.
The rest—about $9 trillion—is old debt that matures this year and needs to be rolled over. Most of that was issued back when interest rates were near zero. Now it’s being refinanced at over 5%.
All while the government is already spending more than $1 trillion a year on interest—more than the entire U.S. military budget.
So even if DOGE was able to find $200 billion in savings this year, our debt would rise about $800 billion. And the next year it would be back to the $1 trillion increase per year. And that's only if inflation stays where it is and interest rates don't rise—which is highly unlikely.
Considering the Matthew 24:37-39 and Luke 17:26-30 explanation that things will be normal financially, just before the Rapture...and Revelation 18 explains that the music stops only after the Rapture, there are few ways out of this mess.
Possibly President Trump has a plan. I know he knows all this, and a lot more. Maybe he'll negotiate the U.S. debt down with debtors enough to a level where the government's income is more than the expenses.
Or maybe he'll use the problem to move to a gold-backed digital currency, with everyone who owns dollars taking a haircut. Everyone.
Or, we could get out of this mess via the Rapture.
Realistically, you could make a case that if the Rapture doesn't happen this year or next, it would indicate that President Trump's financial policies, whatever they end up being, will succeed and take us to a wonderful financial future for a few years...then the Rapture takes us up.
Sounds like a win-win to me.
But I'm just a Bible researcher, not a prophet. Who knows.

Recent research has linked Pfizer’s widely-used Depo-Provera birth control shot to massively increased risk of developing brain tumors — and hundreds of women are suing the pharmaceutical giant over it.
According to a press release filed on behalf of the roughly 400 plaintiffs in the class action suit, the lawsuit claims that Pfizer and other companies that made generic versions of the injectable contraceptive knew of the link between the shot and the dangerous tumors, but didn’t properly warn users.
The suit follows a study published by the British Medical Journal last year that found that people who took the progestin-based shot for a year or more were up to 5.6 times more likely to develop meningioma, a slow-building brain tumor that forms, per the Cleveland Clinic, on the meninges, or layers of tissue that covers the brain and spinal cord.
Though Pfizer attached warning labels about meningioma to Depo-Provera sold in Canada in 2015 and the U.K., Europe, and South Africa after the 2024 study was published, no such label was deployed in the U.S. — a failure which according to the lawsuit is “inconsistent [with] global safety standards.”
New data showing the percentage of people not speaking German at home in Austria underlines just how massive the demographic transformation has been in the country, according to a Hungarian economist.
“Ominous winds are blowing in the West,” economist Géza Sebestyén posted on his Facebook page, along with some astonishing data.
“According to the latest Austrian statistics, one-third (32.8%) of primary school pupils in Austria are non-native German speakers. In cities, the proportion is even higher: in Salzburg, for example, one in two children (51.8%) do not speak German at home,” he noted.
In early 2001, Compass ran a link to a video showing that the population in Europe, and the United States, was shifting, and it was only a matter of time before the entire continent would be overrun with Muslims. The information is also in Steel On Steel Book 1, Chapter 4.

If you or someone you know has cancer, there are alternative treatments to chemo. You just have to do your own research. I know three people who were each given less than 6 months to live unless they took the doc-recommended chemotherapy (FYI—docs are paid a commission on how much chemo (poison) they inject into their patients). They passed on the chemotherapy but are alive today (3 to 5 years later), in remission, no tumors. This is not medical advice, just encouragement that someone with cancer should do their own research.
During a town hall hosted by TV personality Phil McGraw, known as Dr. Phil, U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said that one of the Defense Department’s research and development arms might be spraying Americans with harmful chemicals.
An audience member who identified herself as Emily prompted Kennedy’s comments.
"My biggest concern is the stratospheric aerosol injections that are continuously peppered on us every day," she said. "Bromium, aluminum, strontium — it’s sprayed in our skies all day long."
When McGraw asked Emily if she had a specific question, she said, "Yes, how do we stop it?"
Kennedy responded: "That is not happening in my agency. We don’t do that. It’s done, we think, by DARPA," he said, referring to the Defense Department’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency. "And a lot of it now is coming out of the jet fuel. You know, those materials are put in jet fuel. I’m going to do everything in my power to stop it."
I’ll take a wild guess that 99.9% of these people having heart attacks were Covid va((inated and that practically no one who was unva((inated is part of this increased heart attack trend. Just a guess.
