We have twice written about earthquakes in the latter days. One made it into our Steel On Steel, Book One, Chapter 11. But both articles are available to read online.(1)(2)
Both point to a lot of scripture that tie immense ground shakes to the last days after Rapture. If you're new to this subject, hopefully you can read these articles to supplement this essay.
Earthquakes & Volcanoes in Bible Prophecy
The Coming Shake, Rattle and Roll
The articles point to a lot of scriptures that show the massive earthquake activity that takes place after the Rapture in the 7-year Tribulation.
Obviously it’s likely that before the Rapture we’ll be seeing an increase in earthquake activity as we get closer to our loud and boisterous exit.
So I was not surprised to run across this recent article in Prophecy News Watch(3) regarding the increase in earthquake activity around the world.
The article points out that New Jersey, not known for having earthquakes, has been rattled by 200 tremors in the past three months.
In addition, last week a 2.9 quake was oddly registered under Lake Michigan near Sturgeon Bay, WI.
And in Texas…
So many earthquakes have struck the West Texas County of Scurry in the past week (more than 100 at last count) that local officials have declared a state of emergency.
Scurry County Judge Dan Hicks wrote in his Friday declaration of disaster that since the first earthquake, registering magnitude 4.9, was felt the night of July 22, “… damage has been found throughout Scurry County in businesses and residences."
The article also discusses the “big one” that is due in California. But it seems like that one would be one of the “big two” in the Tribulation.
The Bible indicates there will be a lot of ground shaking around the world in the Tribulation.

In addition to the smaller quakes, there will be two HUGE earthquakes in the 7-year future Tribulation. To keep this simple, I’ll refer to the first Tribulation earthquake as EQ1 and second Tribulation earthquake as EQ2.
The main differences between EQ1 and EQ2 are the size and timing.
EQ1 takes place a couple of years after the Rapture (Judgment Seal 6) and only moves mountains.
The sky was split apart like a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.….Rev. 6:14
and there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty. Rev. 6:18b
As you can see, this will be largest earthquake to ever take place on planet earth… until the next big one.
EQ2 is the mother of all earthquakes, coming at the end of the Tribulation (Judgment Bowl 7). It totally flattens mountains. Imagine that!
there was a great earthquake, such as there had not been since man came to be upon the earth, so great an earthquake was it, and so mighty….And every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. Rev. 16:18, 20
EQ2 will surpass EQ1 by a bunch. If EQ1 rated 100 on the Richter Scale, EQ2 would rate a million.
EQ2 is so strong it shakes the entire planet, flattens all the world’s mountains, and sinks all the world’s islands. No wonder Isaiah says only a few people will survive into the Millennium (Is.24:6).
EQ2 is also referred to in other places in the Bible.
Mountains quake because of Him and the hills dissolve; Indeed the earth is upheaved by His presence, Nah.1:5
The fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all the creeping things that creep on the earth, and all the men who are on the face of the earth will shake at My presence; the mountains also will be thrown down, the steep pathways will collapse and every wall will fall to the ground. Ezek. 38:20
Luke 3:4-6 quotes Isaiah the prophet who says the purpose of the earth being shook so badly is for the entire earth to see the glory and power of God.
A voice is calling, “Clear the way for the LORD in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. Let every valley be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low; And let the rough ground become a plain, and the rugged terrain a broad valley; Then the glory of the LORD will be revealed, and all flesh will see it together; Is. 40:3-5
Most teach that those verses are referring to John the Baptist’s ministry… and they are. But they also are tied into EQ2 at the end of the Tribulation.
And EQ2 is followed by Jesus’ Second Coming, when the entire earth will see Him coming in the sky.
BEHOLD, HE IS COMING WITH THE CLOUDS, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. Rev. 1:7
Naturally one wonders about Isaiah and John recording that the entire earth can see the Lord coming at the same time. How does that work? Hmmm….I guess that’s a point for the flat earthers…LOL!
But He is coming in the clouds, just like when He departed on a cloudy day.
And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were looking on, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them. They also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in just the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.” Acts 1:9-11
So EQ2 will close the Time of Tribulation. A lot happens that day. With all the huge mountains of the world falling down to being only “hills,“ Mt. Moriah will be raised up as the highest mountain.
Jesus will reign 1000 years from the earth's highest mountain.
Up until this time, the Old City of Jerusalem located on Mt. Moriah had been surrounded by higher mountains on all sides—Mt. of Olives to the east, Mt. Zion to the west and Mt. Scopus to the north.
And it will come about in the last days that the mountain of the house of the LORD (Mt. Moriah in Jerusalem) will be established as the chief of the mountains. It will be raised above the hills, Micah 4:1
It’s at that time that Jesus returns to the earth; i.e., His Second Coming. When His feet touch down on the Mount of Olives, it splits north and south.
In that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which is in front of Jerusalem on the east; and the Mount of Olives will be split in its middle from east to west by a very large valley, so that half of the mountain will move toward the north and the other half toward the south. Zach. 14:4
This is no small split! I’m guessing we’ll get to see this in real time as it happens when we're coming back to earth with the Lord!!!
This massive move of earth creates a huge valley to the east of Mount Moriah that’s large enough for Jesus to judge the nations of the world.
I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the valley of Jehoshaphat. Then I will enter into judgment with them there on behalf of My people and My inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations; And they have divided up My land. Joel 3:2
No comment on the Lord mentioning He’s not happy with the Globalists/Satanists dividing up the land. Well, ok, one comment: They will get what they’re due.

They are trying so hard. We’ve started the variant game, with the Times claiming that a new African variant —not yet given a scary nickname— doesn’t just infect gay people and is three percent fatal.
This time, scientists think the disease is spreading through heterosexual prostitutes. I know what you’re thinking, but it would be too much to ask people to temporarily refrain from their sexual adventurism. So don’t even go there. How do you expect quarantined hookers to make a living? It’s not like they’re Uber drivers or something.
The story reported no cases have been found outside Africa. It’s not airborne, so masks won’t help. You have to get busy with somebody to get infected. Or whatever the kids are calling it these days.
This could be just seasonal scaremongering, or maybe we’re about to discover how many new pandemic powers the W.H.O. managed to grab this time. But more likely, big pharma is about to swallow up a giant serving of our tax dollars as governments rush to buy a bunch of unsafe and ineffective emergency-use-authorized vaccines.
There seems to be some kind of massive global medical failure. Pandemics are only supposed to happen every 100 years, or so we’ve been told, regularly and often. We already had our pandemic. So what gives?
Anyway. I wouldn’t take a Monkeypox vaccine for two free donuts. And I don’t think I’m alone. What about you?

The Temple Mount, God's special place on earth, is going to be the straw that breaks the camel's back in the Middle East, and Israel will become the prophesied "burdersome stone."

Simply put, biological sex is immutable. It is defined by the type of gametes one is designed to produce—eggs or sperm. There is no spectrum of gametes!
Making up science to fit a dangerous political ideology extends far beyond sports. It promotes harmful medical practices like gender transition surgeries and hormone treatments, which result in irreversible damage and medical mutilation, particularly in children.
Sadly, we are witnessing a disturbing encroachment of ideology that pressures children into making life-altering medical decisions before they can fathom the permanent consequences.
