Here is a quote from a great recent article written by Prophecy News Watch.
For students of Bible prophecy, there is something extraordinary about this moment [in time].
After nearly two thousand years without an independent Jewish state, Israel has been reestablished. Hebrew has been revived as a national language. Jewish communities from around the world have returned to their ancestral homeland.
Yet political restoration has not produced spiritual unity. Israel faces more than political division.
From secular Israelis to ultra-Orthodox communities, from growing calls for a rebuilt Temple to the expectations surrounding the Messiah, competing visions are shaping the nation's future.
This is an excellent article to read as it conservatively assesses the current situation in Israel. Having just returned from trouping through the land and seeing the Biblical sites, I agree that Israel is divided in several different directions.
There's a saying in Israel, "If you have two Jews, you have three opinions." You see this in the number of political parties in Israel as roughly 110 different parties have won seats in the Knesset since Israel's rebirth in 1948.
But, what the article is missing is what comes next for Israel—the end of the story! God's in control and His providential hand is moving Jews around the world to once again return to their roots.
This return to a Torah-centered life will culminate during the Tribulation with 1/3 of all the Jews fully embracing Yeshua. The other 2/3s don't do so well.
In one of our recent trip Bible studies taught by Andy Woods, he used this slide for clarification of where we are on God’s calendar… which always revolves around Israel.
If you zoom in on the chart above, you can see that Andy points out Israel first returns to their homeland in unbelief. Ezekiel 37 prophesies about this event using a valley of dry, lifeless bones that represent the nation of Israel coming back to their homeland.
But it is clear from scripture that when they’re regathered to their homeland for the second time(1), they do not have God’s Spirit within them.
So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. And I looked, and behold, sinews were on them, and flesh grew and skin covered them; but there was no breath [Spirit] in them. Ezek. 37:7-8
The coming peace covenant that Israel will sign for 7 years will be done as a secular nation that doesn't fully trust God. And the covenant they sign will only bring a temporary peace.
But God will use that situation to show His mighty glory when a year or so after the peace covenant is signed, Russia, Iran, Turkey, and several other nations invade Israel.
It’s at that time the people of Israel will be awakened. As will the world.
"I will magnify Myself, sanctify Myself, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the LORD.” Ezek. 38:23
“And I will set My glory among the nations; and all the nations will see My judgment which I have executed and My hand which I have laid on them. And the house of Israel will know that I am the LORD their God from that day onward. The nations will know that the house of Israel went into exile for their iniquity because they acted treacherously against Me, and I hid My face from them;…” Ezek. 39:21-22
Just like several instances in the Old Testament, God will use hailstones and fire from heaven to destroy the armies coming against Israel.
"With pestilence and with blood I will enter into judgment with him; and I will rain on him and on his troops, and on the many peoples who are with him, a torrential rain, with hailstones, fire and brimstone. I will magnify Myself, sanctify Myself, and make Myself known in the sight of many nations; and they will know that I am the LORD." Ezek. 38:22-23
It will be a real mess for Russia, Iran, and the other nations who come against Israel as they will lose badly.
“I [God] will strike your bow from your left hand and dash down your arrows from your right hand. You will fall on the mountains of Israel, you and all your troops and the peoples who are with you; I will give you as food to every kind of predatory bird and beast of the field. You will fall on the open field; for it is I who have spoken,” declares the Lord GOD. Ezek. 39:3-5
Notice it's God who wins the battle, not Israel's army.
So for those who try to make Israel the bad guy today, i.e. Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, etc., God promises He's not finished with Israel (Romans Chapters 9-11; Revelation 20:2-7; Hosea 6:1-2).
God promises they will repent when they see His hand wiping out their enemies. And He will pour out His Spirit on Israel in the Millennium.
Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, “Now I will restore the fortunes of Jacob and have mercy on the whole house of Israel; and I will be jealous for My holy name. They will forget their disgrace and all their treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they live securely on their own land with no one to make them afraid. When I bring them back from the peoples and gather them from the lands of their enemies, then I shall be sanctified through them in the sight of the many nations. Then they will know that I am the LORD their God because I made them go into exile among the nations, and then gathered them again to their own land; and I will leave none of them there any longer. I will not hide My face from them any longer, for I will have poured out My Spirit on the house of Israel,” declares the Lord GOD.
Anyone, and I mean anyone, dinging Israel or following the lies perpetrated by Satanically influenced people today will regret it mightily in the future.
God says Israel is His beloved.

For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. And in the future it's the Jews who will be gloriously living before Him as Jesus, a Jew, reigns as King of the Earth from Jerusalem.

Fox News reports new findings that married couples who regularly attend church report having more frequent sex and greater sexual satisfaction than those who attend less often or not at all. Cool, the way it should be!
Daily prayer was linked to greater sexual satisfaction among married Catholics and Protestants, though it was not associated with more frequent sex.
In a past Compass eNews, we shared an amazing stat: Christians and non-Christians have about the same divorce rates, around 41% for first time marrieds. This is down from 52% in the late 1970s/early 1980s.

The Jerusalem Post reports that in September, two consecutive top US military officials made public, for the first time, that America has offensive weapons already deployed in space.
A fourth method could be nuclear, but it is assumed that this was not the focus of the US announcement since the terrible consequences in space would impact the attacker as much as the defender.

What happens to a nation that remains spiritually curious but becomes increasingly disconnected from biblical truth?
According to new research from the American Bible Society's 2026 State of the Bible report, fewer than half of Americans now believe that Jesus Christ was born of a virgin through the miraculous work of the Holy Spirit.
Only 49% believe the virgin birth is at least probably true. Just 53% believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, while only 44% believe God miraculously parted the Red Sea for the Israelites.
At the same time, approximately 62% of American adults -- an estimated 171 million people -- believe in the supernatural.
The contradiction is remarkable. America has not rejected the possibility of miracles. Increasingly, however, Americans appear uncertain about the particular miracles recorded in Scripture.
And that raises a much larger question: What happens to a nation that remains spiritually curious but becomes increasingly disconnected from biblical truth?
This is nothing but Satan’s same old lie he has used from the Garden of Eden onward—you can be your own God. You can choose what to believe without accountability to what’s ahead in the future.

Interesting observations by a French entrepreneur... says you don’t want to be France in the future…which is where we're headed if we elect socialists (Dims) to run our government.
The size of the welfare state helps put things into proportion. Public spending has topped 57.3% of France's economic output in 2025, the second-highest share in the European Union.
Public debt is projected to reach 120% of GDP in 2027, behind only Greece and Italy among EU members.
Higher borrowing costs make funding the welfare increasingly impossible. Spending more on debt service leaves the government less flexibility to fund services, absorb economic shocks, or deliver the next round of handout promises as services continue to degrade.

Now the choices of what the government has proposed has become increasingly uncomfortable: higher taxes, spending cuts, or still more borrowing.

In the warning letter to America, he said France already embraced many of the policies American progressives promote, only to discover that more and more government handouts don't translate into the socialist utopia politicians pitched; in fact, quite the opposite.
"The promise was protection. The result is stagnation," Le Pogam wrote.
I'm French. I want to talk to Americans who are about to vote Democrat. Not to insult you. To warn you.

In France we did everything your progressive politicians promise. Free healthcare, free college, generous welfare, strong unions, heavy regulation, high taxes on the rich, a state that takes care of everything. Public spending close to 57% of GDP, one of the highest on the planet. On paper, it's the dream.
Here's what it looks like from the inside. France hasn't passed a balanced budget since 1974. Our debt is above 3,300 billion euros.
Interest on that debt is becoming one of the biggest items in the national budget. Our hospitals are collapsing despite record funding.
Our schools rank lower every year. Young people with degrees can't afford an apartment in the city they were born in. Our best engineers leave for London, Zurich and San Francisco.
And the rich you wanted to tax? They left too, and took the jobs with them.
The promise was protection. The result is stagnation.
The worst part is that nobody in France voted for decline. Every single step sounded generous, compassionate, reasonable. One more program. One more regulation. One more tax to fund it.
Each step alone makes sense. Fifty years of them, and you wake up in a country that can no longer build a nuclear plant on time or keep its streets safe.
I love America because it's the one place on earth where people still believe they can build something from nothing. I came to Silicon Valley as a self-taught kid and it changed my life. That spirit is the most precious thing your country has.
Before you vote, ask yourself one question: is the program you're voting for making America more like America, or more like France?
