What Revelation 1:1 Means

Dear Compass Supporters:

.
As noon approaches each Thursday, here at Compass we're usually busy finishing the week's eNews, pasting in the last of our pictures, editing, checking links, etc.
.
Last week was no different. I searched for, copied and incorrectly pasted in an old Rapture/2nd Coming list of verses. It had the Rapture verses I was discussing in the article listed under the "2nd Coming." 🙁
.
Many thanks to those eagle-eye Bereans who asked why the discrepancy. We've corrected the list in the article that's posted online and here's the correct list.

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. Prov. 9:10

Above is the view of Patmos Harbor from the area where the Catholics say John lived while receiving his Godly visions and recording them in the Book of Revelation.

What Revelation 1:1 Means

I've been fortunate to visit the Isle of Patmos about 20 times. One time Chuck Missler taught about 200 people an overview of the Book of Revelation with Patmos harbor in the background. As you can imagine, it was an incredible Bible study.

That Bible study was supposed to be videoed but the videographer forgot to charge the camera's batteries and we only got to record the first 3 minutes before the charge ran out. Oh well, welcome to my world.

Patmos is, of course, the place to which John was banished after they couldn't boil him to death in Ephesus.

I, John, ....was on the island called Patmos... Rev. 1:9b

Banished is a misleading word. The place is extraordinarily beautiful. In Ephesus the Romans tried to kill him, but at Patmos the locals provided John with food and water while Jesus personally showed him the future. I could rearrange my schedule to do that. Just saying...

The first sentence John recorded is also misleading in most English translations:

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants the things which must soon take place; Rev. 1:1 NASB

The revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show to his servants what must soon take place; Rev. 1:1 RSV

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants—things which must shortly take place. Rev. 1:1 NKJV

This is a revelation from Jesus Christ, which God gave him to show his servants the events that must soon [fn] take place. Rev. 1:1 NLT

When you first read that first verse, unless you’re a Greek scholar reading the original Greek, it sounds like John is saying the events he’s about to describe will begin "soon." This is an obvious problem since it’s been some 2000 years since it was written.

But the Greek word translated here simply doesn’t mean “soon.” John was not saying the events would be happening in the near future.

The actual Greek word translated “soon” is tachos (from which we get the English word "tachometer"). Consider the Greek definition:

tachos, takh´-os; a brief space (of time)

The NLT has a reference after the word “soon” that says:

“1:1b Or suddenly, rapidly, or quickly.”

Obviously the NLT should not be used to study specific words in the Bible as it’s a paraphrase/not a word-for-word translation. Your Bible should always tell you what God said, not what someone thinks He said. So a word-for-word translation is always preferred when studying God’s Word, like the KJV, NKJV, or NASB.

But used as a commentary, the NLT correctly noted ("fn") that the word translated “soon” or “shortly” is unique and means "taking place suddenly, in a brief space of time."

The point is, Revelation 1:1 could very easily be translated:

The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show to His bond-servants, the things which must suddenly take place; Rev. 1:1

John was saying that whenever the Rapture takes place, it will happen suddenly without notice.

The same idea is in a Rapture-related verse that most prophecy lovers know well, which was written regarding non-Christians being caught off-guard with the Rapture:

For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. While they [non-Christians] are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like labor pains upon a woman with child, and they will not escape. 1Thes. 5:2-3

The word “destruction” (or “ruin”) should actually be translated “sudden destruction.” The NASB Greek Notes has the alternative translation listed:

"1Thessalonians 5:3 1Or sudden destruction,
2Lit comes upon"

Therefore the phrase could (should?) be translated:

“...then, suddenly, destruction comes upon them...”

So the Bible clearly teaches us that the end of the Church Age comes suddenly, without warning to the world. Do you think when the Rapture does happen that most of the world will be caught off guard? I think 99% have no clue.

Using "suddenly" instead of "quickly" really makes a difference when you read other verses as well.

I also will keep you from the hour of testing, that hour which is about to come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth. I am coming quickly suddenly; Rev. 3:10-11

And behold, I am coming quickly suddenly Rev. 22:7

Behold, I am coming quickly suddenly Rev. 22:12

He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming quickly suddenly” Amen. Come, Lord Jesus. Rev. 22:20

Therefore, our CQLJ salutation initials, based on scripture denoting "Come Quickly Lord Jesus," does not mean He's coming quickly or soon. Rather, it means He's coming suddenly, as a surprise... to the NON-Believers! But Believers should know when our most exciting departure is close:

But you, brethren (Believers), are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief; 1Th. 5:4

Interestingly, one of the clues given to knowing we're close to our great disappearing act is that the world will be excited about "peace and safety."

While they [non-Believers] are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come... 1Th. 5:3

This "peace and safety obviously can't be a reference to the post-Rapture 7-year peace agreement. So it has to be a reference to a pre-Rapture peace agreement.

Daniel alludes to this preliminary peace when he said:

And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week [7 years], ... Dan. 9:27 NASB95

The newer NASB20 update changes the verse to read:

And he will confirm a covenant ... Dan. 9:27 NASB20

The King James Version and the New King James Version both read:

Then he shall confirm a covenant ... Dan 9:27 NKJV

Confirm” (Hebrew gāḇar) means “make strong, enforce, cause to prevail.” —Biblehub.com

Therefore "confirm a covenant" can be understood as "strengthening" an existing covenant, indicating a reaffirmation or enhancement of a prior agreement.

If Daniel 9:27 says the New World Leader negotiates a peace based on a previously organized agreement/document, then there has to be a previously organized agreement/document! Duh!

Something will be in place, the Rapture happens, and the NWL will need to strengthen the agreement. And the duration of the agreement will be for a specific time period of 7 years. (Dan. 9:27a)

Bottom line: If we see a peace covenant being orchestrated in the Middle East involving Israel, possibly for a specific length of years, it could very well be the framework for the final peace agreement that the New World Leader puts in place for 7 years.

And John the Revelator said at the beginning (Rev. 1:1) and the ending (Rev. 22:20) of his Christ-inspired Revelation dictation, that the world won't be expecting our sudden mass exodus. But Paul adds that we should know when it's close:

But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; 1Th. 5:4-5

Oh boy, what an exciting time to be alive! Use us, Lord!

.

For decades, the Temple Mount was treated as a place too volatile to touch politically, spiritually, or prophetically. Jewish prayer there was heavily restricted, Jewish religious presence was intentionally minimized, and most Israelis avoided even ascending the mount altogether.
.
But something has changed in recent years — and especially since the horrors of October 7th.
.
A growing wave of religious Zionism is sweeping across Israel as many Jews rediscover their Biblical identity, their covenant history, and their connection to the very place where the First and Second Temples once stood.
.
And with that rediscovery comes a renewed longing for the Temple itself.

We know Israel will go back to sacrifices in the Tribulation:

in the middle of the week he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; Dan. 9:27b

So is God using President Trump to set the stage?

This week, reports emerged that President Donald Trump held a high-stakes conference call with leaders from several Arab and Muslim nations, pressing them to consider normalizing relations with Israel in an expanded version of the Abraham Accords once a deal to end the Iran conflict is finalized.

According to reports, the leaders included representatives from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, Jordan, and Bahrain.

Trump Ties Iran Talks To Bigger Middle East Goals

President Trump wants to link Iran negotiations and Abraham Accords expansion into a larger Middle East agreement... (WOW! This is amazing!)

President Trump said he wants several Muslim-majority countries, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, and Jordan, to join the Abraham Accords as part of a larger diplomatic effort tied to ongoing discussions with Iran.

The Abraham Accords, first established during Trump’s first term, normalized relations between Israel and several Arab nations, including the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. Trump pitched the idea as part of a larger regional agreement and suggested a potential Iran deal could become part of a wider political realignment.

The proposal comes during a time of heavy tension in the region, as relations between Israel and many countries have become more strained since the war in Gaza began. Public opinion across parts of the Muslim world remains deeply hostile toward Israel, and several governments continue balancing diplomatic relationships against domestic political pressure.

While the Abraham Accords originally focused on normalization agreements between Israel and individual countries, Trump now appears to be pursuing something larger by attempting to connect several major regional issues at once.

Instead of treating Iran negotiations, Arab-Israeli relations, and regional security concerns as separate tracks, the effort appears to be designed around the idea that progress in one area could drive progress in others.

But if it happens, it sure fits Bible Prophecy!

It sounds like they want to do away with all the free AI and set the world up on a subscription basis to sell our own knowledge back to us. Ouch! CQLJ!

What Bottlenose Dolphins Can Teach Us About Brain Aging

Dr. Mercola Reports

Alzheimer’s disease is expected to affect nearly 78 million people worldwide by 2030, making research into supportive lifestyle and dietary factors more urgent than ever.

Bottlenose dolphins develop the same brain changes seen in Alzheimer’s patients, giving researchers a new way to study how memory loss unfolds.

Research associates a fat called C15:0, found in full-fat dairy and pasture-raised meats, with lower inflammation markers and stabilized neurotransmitter signaling related to memory and mood.

Observational studies have linked higher C15:0 levels with lower rates of diabetes, liver disease, and cardiovascular conditions that share metabolic pathways with brain aging.

Replacing seed oils with traditional saturated fats, increasing dietary C15:0 from full-fat dairy and pasture-raised meats, and discussing C15:0 supplementation with a qualified health care provider may form part of a broader strategy for supporting brain and metabolic health as you age.

Practical Dietary Strategies for Your Long-Term Brain and Metabolic Health

You have more control over your long-term brain health than you might think. The research shows that C15:0, found in full-fat dairy and pasture-raised meats, has been studied as a nutrient that may support cell membrane stability and inflammation balance, with implications for memory and mood research.

At the same time, you need to reduce linoleic acid (LA) from vegetable oils, which research links to mitochondrial stress and have been associated with markers of cognitive aging. It takes about two years to purge LA from your system, but increasing your intake of C15:0 may support cellular remodeling and resilience as LA levels decline. Here's how to apply this knowledge in your daily life.

1. Replace vegetable oils with healthier fats — Stop cooking with seed oils like soybean, corn, safflower, and sunflower oil, which are loaded with LA and drive chronic inflammation. Swap them for grass-fed butter, ghee, or tallow. Also eliminate ultraprocessed foods — a primary source of seed oils. This single step starts the process of lowering the toxic burden of LA in your body.

2. Increase your intake of C15:0 through food — Bring back organic, full-fat dairy like raw, grass-fed milk, yogurt, and cheese if you tolerate them, or choose grass-fed beef and lamb. These foods are natural sources of C15:0, which supports cellular integrity and protects your mitochondria from damage.

3. Consider taking 250 milligrams of C15:0 — Use either a pure pentadecanoic acid powder or a verified high-C15 butter or ghee concentrate. Splitting the dose across meals keeps your plasma levels steady and ensures maximum tissue uptake.

4. Track your status to measure progress — Every three months, use an RBC or dried-blood-spot test to confirm that your C15:0 levels are 0.4% or higher and your LA has dropped below 5% of your total fats.

These numbers confirm your cells are remodeling and healing. If your numbers stall, it's a sign to check for hidden sources of vegetable oils or inconsistent dosing.

DISCLAIMER: Talk to your health care provider about whether this testing is appropriate for you.

5. Adopt daily habits that protect your brain from inflammation and sugar swings —Keep your brain sharp by moving your body every day, getting deep, restorative sleep, and using stress-relieving practices like meditation or slow breathing.

Cut back on refined sugars and ultraprocessed snacks, since big blood sugar swings leave your brain feeling foggy and drained.

These simple routines work hand in hand with C15:0, lowering inflammation and strengthening brain cells while your body clears out harmful LA and restores healthier function.

Q: Why are dolphins being studied to understand Alzheimer's?

A: Bottlenose dolphins cared for by the U.S. Navy live long enough to show age-related changes in their brains. Researchers found that dolphins naturally develop amyloid plaques and brain inflammation — hallmarks of Alzheimer's also seen in humans. This makes them a valuable model for understanding brain aging.

Q: What is C15:0, and why is it important for brain health?

A: C15:0, also called pentadecanoic acid, is an odd-chain saturated fat found in full-fat dairy and pasture-raised meats. Research has associated C15:0 with cell membrane stability, lower inflammation markers, and sustained dopamine signaling, which may relate to memory and mood.

Q: How is C15:0 different from the fats found in vegetable oils?

A: Vegetable oils are high in LA, which damages mitochondria, increases inflammation, and speeds up cognitive decline. It takes about two years to clear LA from your body, but C15:0 speeds up this process. C15:0 protects your cells, lowers inflammatory damage, and supports healthier energy production in your brain.

Q: What practical steps can I take to lower LA and raise my C15:0 levels?

A: You can replace seed oils with healthier fats like grass-fed butter, ghee, coconut oil, or tallow; eat more full-fat, grass-fed dairy and meats; supplement with 250 milligrams of purified C15:0; test your C15:0 and LA levels every few months; and build habits like daily movement, quality sleep, stress management, and limiting ultraprocessed foods to keep your brain sharp.

No Dollar, No Laundry

Epoch Times Reports:

Sen. Rick Scott (R-Fla.) has reintroduced legislation to prevent the use of China’s central bank digital currency (CBDC) in the U.S. market.

The legislation, called the Chinese CBDC Prohibition Act, would impose a ban on the Chinese digital currency, variously known as the digital yuan, digital renminbi, e-CNY, or e-yuan.

The Chinese digital currency is issued and regulated by China’s central bank, the People’s Bank of China (PBOC).

“The dollar is the reserve currency of the world and the CCP wants to undermine our leadership with a digital currency they can track and manipulate. This is unacceptable for America,” Scott said in a statement on May 22, using the acronym of the Chinese Communist Party.

Scott, who serves on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said the Chinese digital currency is another tool by the CCP to “spy on its people and all those who use it.”

“[Chinese leader] Xi [Jinping] and his thugs have no business playing big brother to American citizens and how they spend their money,” Scott said. “Americans deserve privacy when it comes to their financial transactions and the last thing they need is Communist China spying on them.”

The legislation (S.4601), which would amend the Bank Secrecy Act, states that “no money services business may engage in any transaction, directly, or indirectly, that involves a central bank digital currency issued by the People’s Republic of China.”

Eating Eggs Lowers Alzheimer's Risk

Epoch Times Reports:

A study published in The Journal of Nutrition found that eating two or more eggs per week was associated with a 47 percent lower risk of developing Alzheimer’s, compared with eating eggs less than once a month or not at all.

Egg intake has also been associated with better performance on tests measuring the brain areas involved in planning, focus, and decision-making.

Eggs provide several nutrients that the brain depends on. One of the most important is choline. “Choline is the precursor for acetylcholine, which is the most important neurotransmitter for memory,” Bredesen said.

Eggs also contain antioxidants such as lutein, which help protect brain cells from damage, and omega-3 fatty acids, which support brain structure and help regulate inflammation.

In Canada you have to be careful who you tell that you have a headache or that you're depressed.

A family doctor assessed an Ontario man for Medical Assistance In Dying outside a Tim Hortons coffee shop and later drove him to a funeral establishment where he administered a lethal injection.

But just so you know, some people complained that seemed a bit rushed. So the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario found that MacLean crossed professional boundaries and that his actions risked appearing coercive.

They really came down hard on Dr. MacLean by making him agree to six months of clinical supervision while he's still able to practice and oversee more MAiD deaths. Unreal.

Jacksonville Baptism Event Draws Thousands!

Article

On the shores of Jacksonville recently, something extraordinary happened. In a culture that constantly tells us Christianity is fading, outdated, or losing the next generation, more than 2,500 people, mostly youth, walked into the Atlantic Ocean and publicly declared that Jesus Christ is Lord.
.
It was not a political rally. It was not a celebrity concert. It was not driven by entertainment, outrage, or social media trends.
.
It was baptism.
.
And it may be one of the clearest signs yet that beneath the surface of America’s cultural chaos, a spiritual hunger is growing.
.
Yea!!!!

Something seismic has happened to public health in America—and most people haven’t fully processed its scale.

A 2025 JAMA study surveying pregnant mothers and parents of young children found that only 37% fully trusted the CDC vaccine schedule and planned to follow it completely.

Twenty five years ago that number would have been north of 80%.

In 2000, only 19% of parents had concerns about vaccines. By 2009, that number was 50%. And by 2013, 9% had declined all immunizations, while 32% had safety concerns.

So what’s causing the drop? It's because the word is getting out that va((ines are harmful, if not worthless.

Trump’s Pollster Found Voters Were Highly Concerned About Va((ines But The Poll Never Saw Daylight

The Daily Caller reported:

An unreleased poll appears to undermine the White House’s stated rationale for pivoting away from policies that inflame pharmaceutical companies.

The Daily Caller News Foundation obtained a secret poll conducted in October 2025 by President Donald Trump’s longtime pollster Tony Fabrizio finding that 73% of voters expressed concern about childhood vaccine mandates, while a whopping 90% of voters expressed concern about the pharmaceutical industry’s corrupting influence.

The October poll was never released. White House officials in media reports have instead cited a more limited poll Fabrizio conducted a month later concluding the issue is a political loser to justify Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s election-year pivot to food policy.

The shift away from vaccines at Kennedy’s health department culminated last week in the termination of the lead author of the Trump administration’s policy on the childhood vaccination schedule.

CDC and WHO Say U.S. C-Section Rate Is Too High

KPLC 7 News reported:

The U.S. has about 10,000 births per day, and about 32% of those births are via cesarean section, or C-section. If that number feels high for you, you’re not alone.

The World Health Organization says the acceptable rate is only 10-15%. Preparing for before, during, and after birth are all lengthy decisions a mother needs to make with her care team. But there’s one decision that may not get as much time.

“There are certain instances where the only safe way to deliver the baby is a C-section,” said Rita Ellen Eye, OB/GYN, physician & owner of Premier OB-Gyn.

A C-section is when the baby is delivered through the lower part of the abdomen, with an incision through the skin & uterus to remove the baby safely.

“One fairly common reason that a C-section might need to happen would be if the baby is not in a good position to deliver vaginally,” Dr. Eye told Ivanhoe.

The biggest reason for C-sections right now is fetal distress, which is picked up by fetal monitoring. “Rather than risk the baby not being able to be delivered safely, then very often we’ll suggest, you know what, let’s do a C-section to get the baby out safely,” Dr. Eye explained.

Argentina Is Blessed By Loving Israel?

Three years ago, Argentina was a corpse. Inflation was 300%. Under a failed socialist experiment, poverty was out of control, and its currency was collapsing.

But in steps the new leadership of Javier Milei, called the Trump of Argentina. He unabashedly stood shoulder to shoulder with Israel, blessing the Jewish state, and now Argentina is alive again.

And I will bless those who bless you [Israel/descendants], and the one who curses you I will curse.Gen. 12:3

A pic you'll never see in the major media—Iranians who support President Trump:

You won’t see this in the mainstream news… The behind the scenes maneuvering to get control back of the American dollar from European control.

Judy Shelton argues that productive growth and rising wages are not inflationary, challenging the Federal Reserve's Keynesian framework and calling for a New Bretton Woods of low rates, stable exchange rates, and credit aimed at physical productivity.

The episode frames her remarks alongside Kevin Warsh's “regime change” at a Fed seen as crushing demand while backstopping Wall Street, with warnings that a rate hike amid an Iran-war “oil shock” would worsen a supply problem.
.
It revisits the 1944 Bretton Woods fight between Roosevelt's Harry Dexter White and John Maynard Keynes, claiming the post-1971 system enabled deindustrialization and offshore finance.
.
It then highlights the administration's alternative executive-branch credit channels and Secretary Rubio's India trip, including Quad critical minerals coordination, as part of a “Core Five” alignment (U.S., China, Russia, India, Japan) designed to bypass London-centered finance.
.
If there is no Rapture this September, this will play heavily into the USA's becoming even more of a "golden cup in the Lord's hand."

Another CA Child Taken By The State When Parents Refuse To Support Transition

.
Article
.
.
A growing number of parents across America are finding themselves trapped in an unimaginable nightmare: lose your child emotionally, or lose your child legally.
.
The latest heartbreaking case comes from California, where Orthodox Christian mother Alexandra Lyashchenko says the state seized her teenage daughter after she refused to consent to testosterone treatments and a gender transition.
.
According to interviews she gave to NTD, California authorities have now moved toward permanently separating the child from her family and placing her up for adoption.
.
The allegations surrounding the case are deeply disturbing. Lyashchenko says her daughter was housed with boys in foster care because of her "gender identity," and she believes her daughter was sexually assaulted while in the system.
.
Her family has reportedly fled California and is now hiding in Florida out of fear the state could target their younger son next.
.
If the government can take your child because you refuse to affirm one controversial ideology today, what other deeply held beliefs could eventually place families in the crosshairs tomorrow?

Spiritual Numbness

.
Article
.
.
The modern world is experiencing what many psychologists and cultural analysts now describe as “apocalypse fatigue.”
.
After years of pandemics, lockdowns, economic instability, global conflict, social unrest, and relentless media-driven fear cycles, people are emotionally worn down.
.
Many no longer react with urgency to alarming headlines because they have become desensitized. Constant crisis has created spiritual numbness.

Scripture repeatedly warns that the last days would be marked not only by turmoil, but by spiritual dullness and distraction. Jesus said:

“Be on guard, so that your hearts will not be weighted down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of life, and that day will not come on you suddenly like a trap…” (Luke 21:34)

Notice that Christ did not merely warn about persecution or tribulation. He warned about hearts becoming weighed down by the pressures and anxieties of life itself.

The danger is not simply fear, it is spiritual exhaustion that causes people to stop watching altogether.

7 Beliefs Dividing Baptist Churches Today

25-minute video

Baptist churches across America are facing quiet but serious divisions over doctrine, culture, worship, authority, and the future of the church. And since 2006 to 2022, the number of Baptists has dropped from 16 million to 13 million members.

This video explores the seven beliefs creating tension inside Baptist congregations today — and why many churches may not survive the conflict unchanged.

The quick list is:

  1. Calvinism vs. Free Will Arminianism
  2. Women in leadership / no women pastors?
  3. Critical race theory - blacks leaving SBC
  4. LGBTQ  Include them or draw a line in the sand
  5. Authority of scripture—age of the earth—old verses young
  6. Christian nationalism, should Christians get involved in politics?
  7. Alcohol / some or abstinence?

Gym Owners Push Back Against Scantily Clad Exercisers

Article

CLICK HERE  (Warning, the article uses the above picture without covering.)

I guess I'm not the only one who thinks some women are crossing the modesty dressing line these days. To be fair, MOST of those I've noticed dressing inappropriately are probably not Believers.

A Northern Kentucky gym called TAC Fitness is facing backlash after women say a new dress code policy is a violation of their right to "not be judged."

An email sent to TAC Fitness members said the gym is enforcing dress guidelines to ensure people of all ages feel comfortable and free from “inappropriate or revealing attire.”

So here are their new gym-wear rules (they seem reasonable):

Clothing must provide adequate coverage of the chest, back, shoulders, and thighs. Genitals, buttocks, breasts, chest, and nipples must be fully covered with opaque fabric at all times. (For skin-tight leggings: Glutes to be covered by a long tank top, t-shirt, or fabric tied around the waist.)

Shirts must fully cover the torso and chest, including cleavage.

Bottoms must fully cover the buttocks during all movements. Acceptable bottoms: Athletic shorts, pants, leggings, or sweatpants.

Tank tops and sleeveless shirts are permitted but must not be excessively low-cut.

No Wonder Men Are Opting Out Of Marriage

Article

This article is from a non-Christian perspective, but interesting nevertheless.

The marriage collapse runs in lockstep with the workforce data. According to US Census Bureau data, married-couple households made up 71% of all US households in 1970; today it’s just 47%.

The Modern Woman:

  • They are the most miserable, anxious and insecure cohort in living memory — hardly great marriage material.
  • Most married women go off sex — and the husband who objects is seen as the problem.
  • Many women don’t actually like men very much. The more educated she is, the higher the contempt.
  • They’ve gone full throttle Left — and three quarters of college-educated women won’t even date a man who votes differently.
  • They’ve rigged the education system and colonised corporate and institutional life, turning universities and workplaces into man-repellent factories.
  • Yet their hypergamy is still running hot. Despite outnumbering men in education and careers, they still demand a tall, equally high-status unicorn.
  • The modern female threat-detection system is hyperactive. Almost any male behaviour — silence, opinions, jokes, breathing — gets flagged as a red flag.
  • They’re extremely well-versed in the lucrative economics of divorce, including a well-timed false allegation to eliminate tedious shared parenting.

Not only does this toxic climate encourage women to be wary of men, but growing up in a hate-fuelled online sewer takes a toll on their mental health.

What rational man reads this list and thinks: yes, that’s exactly what’s been missing from my life?

Thank the Lord I'm a Believer giving it my best shot at loving my wife like Christ loves the Church!

More On Rapture In Matthew 24

Last week's article was about Rapture in Matthew 24, specifically in verses 40 and 41—about who was taken, the Believers or non-believers?

Someone forwarded me their pastor's notes on the subject and I thought I would pass them along as he makes great points not covered last week:

"Matthew 24:36-41; NAS

36 “But about that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone. 37 For [a]the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not [b]understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 At that time there will be two men in the field; one [c]will be taken and one [d]will be left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the [e]mill; one [f]will be taken and one [g]will be left.

"What church you grew up in will usually determine how you interpret this passage of scripture. Most modern denominational churches follow the original Catholic Church’s 'A-millennial' position of this passage being an allegory of the Second Coming of Christ.

"The first reason some scholars assume that, is because Jesus had been talking about His Second Coming and so, logically, Jesus must still be talking about His Second Coming.

"The second reason scholars assume this passage is talking about His Second Coming is that it is assumed that the word “taken” in verses 40 and 41, means the same thing as the word “took” in verse 39.

Matthew 24:38-41; NAS

38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, 39 and they did not [b]understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be. 40 At that time there will be two men in the field; one [c]will be taken and one [d]will be left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the [e]mill; one [f]will be taken and one [g]will be left.

"Most scholars assume this passage means they were all “taken” in judgment. First, we need to understand the context of this passage of scripture in the original Greek text from which it was translated.

"Let’s look at what the original Greek text says about this passage. Let’s start with the word, “But” in verse 36. It is translated from the Greek word pronounced {det-por’-ee}, which is a contrastive introduction of a new subject, and it should have been translated, “but concerning” or “now concerning.” This Greek phrase is most used to introduce a new subject.

"To prove this point, let’s look at examples of the same Greek word used elsewhere in the Bible.

1 Corinthians 7:1; KJV

Now concerning the things whereof ye wrote unto me: It is good for a man not to touch a woman.

"In chapter 6, Paul was talking about how to live as a Christian. In chapter 7, Paul is now getting ready to talk about marriage. Paul continually does this throughout the Book of Corinthians using the Greek word, pronounced {det-por’ee} to change subjects.

"We see this in 1 Corinthians 8:1 (Speaking of idols), 1 Corinthians 12:1 (speaking of spiritual gifts), 1 Corinthians 16:1 (The collection of money).

"The point is this: Everyone listening to Jesus or reading what He said during that time, would know that He was changing subjects and not talking about the same thing.

"Therefore, we see that Jesus, who has been talking about His Second Coming, is now changing subjects to talk about the Rapture in Matthew 24:36-41.

"Secondly, the words, “taken” in verses 40 and 41 are translated from the same Greek word pronounced {para-lam-ban’-o}, and it means “to take with you”; implying fellowship or a good relationship with someone, implying something good.

"In other words, you’re being taken in a good way by someone you’re in fellowship with.

"The phrase “took them all away” in verse 39 is translated from the Greek word, pronounced {ah’-ee-ro} which means “to remove” or “to take away” with a negative connotation. In the context of verse 39, it implies they were removed from the earth and taken away {ah’-ee-ro} in judgment (they died!).

"So unlike Noah, who was prepared and survived the flood in the ark, the other people of earth were “taken away” in a negative connotation and killed during the judgment flood. Verses 40 and 41 says that those who are prepared are taken {para-lam-ban’-o} by Jesus to escape God’s judgment.

"The translators of the Bible used the same word to describe two very different meanings, which causes confusion in translation of the original Greek text in Matthew 24:36-41.

"It’s important to note that Noah and the flood are analogous to the Rapture and the Tribulation and should be used as a teaching point for us to be prepared to escape God’s judgment on the earth!"
