One thing God worked on in my life from the time I became a Believer through this conference weekend is to work on my pride vs. humility.

In my first conversation with Chuck Missler in 1993 I shared my idea for the type of conference I thought would be unique—top national speakers tackling tough Bible topics. He enthusiastically supported it. But he suggested I name it "Surviving the 90s." Hmmm...
It was a good short-term name, but I was thinking longer-term. And it was my wife Susie* who actually came up with the name "Steeling the Mind."

So we held the first conference in Vail, Colorado where Susie and I had been living for 10 years. We had moved there with a pastor to plant a church, which I named Vail Bible Church.
The Town of Vail had built a beautiful "Church" with a steeple in the downtown area (for skyline looks) and every hour on Sunday there was a new denomination...this was mainly for the tourists.
But to be given a time slot you had to agree to give the "Association" 10% of your revenue. Since our long-term plans included building our own facility, we opted to go in another direction and save our money.
It took us 8 years changing locations 8 times to save up to pay cash for a new building. A couple of people gave the bulk of the money, but all contributed.
I'll never forget the first Sunday service we held in the public library. I, pridefully thinking I was an excellent marketing guy, had promoted the new church on the radio and in the local newspaper.
We set up a podium and chairs for about 12 people. By the time the service was to begin no one had showed up. A big humbling. Then a minute or two later a guy comes in and sits down. I walk back and hand him a bulletin and he immediately asks me if this was "AA." I said no and he promptly leaves.
A few seconds later another guy comes in and sits down. As I walked toward him with my bulletins, he asks me if this was "AA." I told him no. So he leaves too.
Then another lady comes in the door and sits down. I took one look at her disheveled clothes and knew she was also looking for "AA." As I walked toward her I said, "Are you looking for "AA?" She said "No, is this Vail Bible Church?"

She was the only one that showed up that first Sunday. After about three years of attending, her non-believer husband finally began coming with her. He eventually trusted his life to the Lord.
After 10 years in Vail, I felt drawn to go into full-time ministry. By that time there were about 700 people attending Vail Bible, which was about 10% of the year-round population of Vail. PTL! TGBTG!! It certainly wasn't because I knew what I was doing!
The church is still there today, although a new pastor eventually took over and the new administration changed the name by taking out "Bible" — now it's "Vail Church." No comment.
But the point is that everything happens in God's timing, not ours.

It took me a long time to understand that verse. Today I'm USUALLY content with whatever the Lord is allowing in my life. I find it's far better to let God be God. Less complications in the long run.
Today I know this conference is here because God allowed it for His purposes. And through the years He motivated people to support Compass. Susie, our staff and I could never have made it without them. Again, quite humbling.
We're looking forward to seeing everyone Saturday in Coeur d'Alene. And we look forward to one day meeting in heaven so many thousands more who watch live on the Internet.

WSJ's Chief Foreign Correspondent Declares It's Over For Ukraine In Kursk
Russian forces have recaptured Sudzha, the largest town that Ukraine once occupied in the Kursk region, according to Moscow, threatening Kyiv’s sole territorial bargaining chip amid pressure to negotiate an end to the war.
“In the course of the offensive operations, units of the North military group liberated the settlements of Melovoy, Podol and Sudzha,” the Russian defense ministry said Thursday.
The US-based conflict monitor the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) also said footage from the ground indicated that Russian forces had seized Sudzha and advanced to southern Zaoleshenka, a settlement just northwest of the town.
Its recapture would represent a major symbolic victory for Russia. Although Sudzha is a small place, with a population of about 5,000 people before Ukraine’s incursion, it was one of the only key towns still held by Ukraine.

Todd Starns is reporting that Boise State University Head football coach Spencer Danielson has drawn fire because he mentions the name of Jesus Christ in public appearances.
The Freedom From Religion Foundation accused the coach of placing a Christian litmus test on students. They say that’s illegal. They got riled up because the coach says his football team is going to give Jesus the glory.
Coach Danielson is an outspoken follower of Jesus Christ and he frequently mentions Christianity during public interviews. He drew fire from the Wisconsin-based atheist group when he told reporters that his football program will give “glory to Jesus” and be a “light on a hill.”
The coach prayed for integrity, sportsmanship and freedom from injury — which was appealing to people of all faiths and of none. But when he ended with “We ask this in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ,” the atheists came unglued.
Pray for those deluded atheists...they have no clue what's in store for them...forever.

There is a new study out titled Fatal Malignant Cardiac Tumors Following COVID-19 mRNA Injection
Growing body of evidence suggests COVID-19 mRNA injections are likely carcinogenic (poisonous), contributing to the sharp rise in rapidly progressing, fatal cancers.
Unfortunately, this article is written using a lot of medical terms I'm not familiar with. However, here are a few summary points in layman's terms:
As this study indicates, rapidly progressing fatal cancers shortly following COVID-19 mRNA injection are real, not “disinformation” as the mass media suggests. A growing body of evidence suggests that COVID-19 mRNA injections are likely carcinogenic and have contributed to the alarming rise in cancer rates:
Excess cancer mortality up 9% since mass mRNA injection campaign (99,530 excess cancer deaths since early 2021). (I don't know about you, but I know a LOT of people who are dealing with all kinds of deadly cancers—BP)
COVID-19 mRNA injections may create a pro-tumor environment by promoting inflammation, immune dysregulation, and genome instability, all of which align with the "hallmarks of cancer."
In conclusion, this case series and emerging evidence strongly suggest a link between COVID-19 mRNA injections and the rapid onset of aggressive cancers, coined ‘turbo cancers’. Given the alarming rise in cancer rates and the possibility of a pro-tumorigenic effect, an immediate moratorium on COVID-19 mRNA injections is warranted. Public health authorities must act swiftly to protect population safety and uphold medical integrity.

Reuters has just reported:
“The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is planning a large study into potential connections between vaccines and autism, two sources familiar with the matter told Reuters”
The CDC first entered the picture to conduct its own in-house study to determine if the timing of the MMR vaccine was associated with the increase of autism being seen in children in 2001.
The autism rate at the time was 1 in 150 children.
The study originally found that African American males under the age of 36 months who were given the MMR vaccine showed increased risks of autism.
That part never made it in the study.
It was in 2014 when a senior scientist within the CDC who coauthored the study came forward claiming he and his coauthors committed research fraud. He gave his whistleblowing documents and statement to many in congress. Big Pharma and the CDC circled the wagons and squashed the story.
Fast forward to today. Recently the CDC was sued / legally challenged to produce the ‘robust’ science to show their claims that vaccines don’t cause autism. They had to admit they didn't have anything to back up their claims.
Now with President Trump, RFKjr and NIH appointee Jay Bhattacharya in charge, this new study will undoubtedly expose the truth. Whatcha bet Big Pharma tries to slow it down?

In an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, RFKjr fired another laser-focused missile at Big Pharma. Rather than attacking them directly, all at once, he's eating the elephant one bite at a time.
In this interview he explains that new studies show that a large percentage of those taking drugs for depression can literally get off their prescriptions (which cause myriads of other problems) by simply eating better. I'm guessing most, if not all, physicians don't ask their patients what they eat before writing a prescription.

NIH Pulls Plug on ‘Vaccine Hesitancy’ Research — Will mRNA Products Be Next?
The National Institutes of Health will no longer fund research on “vaccine hesitancy” and strategies for increasing vaccine uptake, The Washington Post reported Monday.

The physician and former Florida Congressman has been a prominent critic of the Vaccine Cartel and its mafia methods.
Weldon, a physician who has opposed abortion rights, had been scheduled to appear before the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee on Thursday for a confirmation hearing. The committee confirmed the withdrawal of the nomination and said the hearing had been canceled.
This raises the suspicion that Big Pharma lobbied against Weldon in the Senate—an easy trick, given that most Senators have, over the years, accepted a ton of dough from the vaccine cartel.
A plausible theory is that the Senators let Trump have Kennedy, but they insisted that Weldon was going too far. The medical doctor and Republican former Congressman knows too much about the link between the CDC’s hyper-vaccination childhood schedule and the explosive rise of autism in the last thirty years.
A federal court recently awarded $90,000 each to two former St. Louis Public Schools (SLPS) employees who sued the school district after their requests for a religious exemption to the district’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate were denied.
“The District’s alleged Policy put Plaintiffs to a choice: compromise their convictions or lose their livelihoods,” U.S. Chief District Judge Stephen R. Clark wrote. “Restrictions impermissibly infringing on constitutional rights, like the right to freely exercise one’s religion, spread across the country like a virus.”

Speaker of the House Mike Johnson recently stated, “I am comforted to know that Marco Rubio is Secretary of State, and folks are actually sitting down line by line and going through, eliminating the abuses of taxpayer dollars.”
A recent Gallup poll released on Thursday shows that less than half of Americans now sympathize more with Israelis than Palestinians, marking the lowest level of support for Israelis since at least 2001. The survey was conducted between Feb. 3 and 16, during the first phase of the temporary ceasefire between Israel and the Hamas terrorist group.
The poll revealed that 46% of respondents feel more sympathy for Israelis, while 33% lean more toward the Palestinians. The 13-point difference is the narrowest since at least 2001, when 51% of people sided more with Israelis and just 16% with Palestinians.
The results revealed that only 33% of Democrats view Israel favorably, compared to 83% of Republicans.

As the Biden administration exited the White House, millions of taxpayer dollars flowed into questionable hands.
According to a report from Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA), a vaccine company—barely in existence, registered to a Maryland post office box, and helmed by former Biden administration officials—was quietly handed $28 million in federal funding from the National Institutes of Health’s Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H).
In a letter addressed to newly-appointed HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Ernst raised serious concerns about potential corruption, calling the massive federal payout “fishy.”
“A vaccine company registered to a PO Box — and run by two former Biden staffers — got $28 million in the final months of the Biden admin, and that seems fishy,” Ernst wrote on X.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – America First Legal (AFL) has uncovered a major conflict of interest involving the federal judge who recently issued a ruling halting President Trump’s temporary spending freeze — Judge John McConnell, Chief Judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island.
