We received a lot of fun feedback regarding last week's article, "Should We Vaccinate Our Pets?" The most interesting email I got gave some good reasons we should tweak the recipe — remove the carrots and instead use leafy vegetables.
The reason given was:
Regarding the pet food veggies choices… low oxalate veggies are better. Peas are low oxalate but carrots contain a medium high amount. Volume is important when ingesting oxalates for both people and animals.
My favorite low oxalate veggies are romaine and green leaf lettuce, green cabbage, zucchini, squash, and bok choy.
So there you have it. Bottom line, if you're sprinkling additives on bad pet food to make it better, consider not using the bad pet food altogether...and make your own!
Va((inate vs. Vaccinate
Five years ago we began purposefully misspelling "vaccines" (va((ines) as the powers that be might be checking digital correspondence for peeps who were passing along the TRUTH about the shots. Somehow we mostly flew under the radar.

One of the funniest television lines of the 1960s came from comedian Flip Wilson playing a character he made up named Geraldine.
Geraldine, when caught red handed in sin, would defend herself by hilariously pleading, “The devil made me do it.” That line was repeated millions of times by Believers and non-believers alike as an excuse for sin.
Funny thing is, like any good joke, there's actually some truth to it. Satan IS behind all sin committed.
This is because, as you know, sin came into the world through Satan deceiving Eve into sin.
And it was not Adam who was deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression. 1Tim 2:14
Adam followed Eve, but he was not duped—he willingly sinned. The result was Adam’s newly acquired sin nature would be passed down to every human.
just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, Rom. 5:12
The result is that we are all born sinners, and we will die sinners, separated from God in heaven, unless we have atonement for our sins…which is what Jesus’ sacrificial death provided.
For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. 1Cor. 15:22
The only person to escape that human sin nature was Jesus, because it was not Joseph who got Mary pregnant, but rather, God supernaturally impregnated Mary.
Since sin was not passed from the woman, but rather from the man, Jesus could be born a sinless human sacrifice for the world.
But in case you haven’t noticed, once you become a Believer, you still have the sin nature. It doesn’t disappear when we become Believers. We’re still prone to sin, and a target of Satan.
Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. 1Pet. 5:7b
Our only defense is scriptural discernment…the more we know our Bible, the less likely we are to be duped by our adversary. But anybody can get tripped up at any time.
Paul said he sinned every day, all day and couldn’t stop.
For what I am doing, I do not understand; for I am not practicing what I would like to do, but I am doing the very thing I hate. Rom. 7:15
I'm grateful for Paul saying that. I can relate!!
Since the time of Adam, Satan and his evil angels have spent 6000 years duping Believers in every imaginable way to do sinful things. No matter how hard we try, we end up being humbled by our sin nature.
Jesus’ sacrificial death on the cross put an end to death and suffering for Believers. Death is actually our way of escape from our sinful condition.
As we’ve said many times in the past, Christians don’t really die, we just change places.
prefer rather to be absent from the body and to be at home with the Lord. 2 Cor. 5:8
Therefore human death is Good News for Believers because that’s when we shed our sin-filled container and get our new eternal sinless container.
For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. 2Cor. 5:1
We know we get rid of our sin nature because when we take our last breath on earth, we go to be with Jesus. And to be with Jesus we can’t have sin in any part of our life.
This is seen when Isaiah was caught up to heaven. Once there, he immediately saw his sinfulness and had to have temporary atonement to be in the presence of God.
Woe is me, for I am ruined! Because I am a man of unclean lips, Then one of the seraphim flew to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken from the altar with tongs. He touched my mouth with it and said, “Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away and your sin is forgiven.” Is. 6:5b-7
Isaiah doesn’t need that atonement today because Jesus provided Himself as the perfect sacrificial payment making it possible for us Believers to go to heaven.
After the Rapture, in the Tribulation mess that follows, people will, of course, still have the sin nature. Therefore all new humans will still be born sinful.
But, with God’s Holy Spirit having departed at the Rapture, the world will not have the sin-restraining presence of God’s Holy Spirit. Wholesale sin will abound unabated.
Many people innocently ask how anybody could get saved in the Tribulation if God‘s Holy Spirit isn’t present?
The answer is, of course, they will be saved the same way people in the Old Testament got saved–by faith.
For by [faith] the men of old gained approval. Heb. 11:2
By faith Abel…Heb 11:4
By faith Enoch…Heb. 11:5
By faith Noah…Heb. 11:7
By faith Abraham…Heb. 11:8
By faith even Sarah…Heb. 11:11
By faith Isaac…Heb. 11:20
By faith Jacob…Heb. 11:21
By faith Joseph…Heb. 11:22
By faith Moses…Heb. 11:23
So regardless of when you live, before or after the cross, it’s your faith that saves you.
faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen. Heb 11:1
Only in the Church Age does the Holy Spirit permanently come into your heart at conversion. He didn’t come permanently into a Believer’s heart before the cross, and He won’t after the Rapture.
Always remember, the Church Age is a very, very privileged time in which to live. Our spiritual asset of God's Holy Spirit living in us is almost beyond comprehension.
Not to mention living at the end of the Church Age with electricity, Internet access, etc., and most likely escaping human death via the Rapture.
When Jesus comes back after the 7-year Tribulation to rule the earth for 1000 years, people will continue to be born with a sin nature. We know that because Jesus will be ruling the earth from Jerusalem, as a righteous judge of evil.
And He will judge between the nations, and will render decisions for many peoples; Is. 2:4a
Currently Jesus is not ruling the earth from Jerusalem; He's sitting at the right hand of His Father (Rev 3:21). But He will return at what we refer to as the Second Coming and reign as King of the Earth from Mt. Moriah in Jerusalem.
For the LORD of hosts will reign on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, Is. 24:23b
After wreaking havoc during the 7-year Tribulation, Satan will be bound during the Millennium.
And he laid hold of the dragon, the serpent of old, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years; Rev. 20:2
During the Millennium, the earth will be incredibly different from the earth today.
> People will live hundreds of years. Is. 55:20-23
> There will be no carnivorous instincts of animals. Is. 11:6-9
> Babies will play safely with snakes. Is. 11:8
> There will be no weather problems as the mountains formed from Noah’s flood will go back to hills. Rev. 16:20
> There will be no war, but true world peace!
Demons
What’s interesting is that the Bible is silent on what happens to Satan’s demon-angels during the Millennium.
One group of demon-angels was so bad (mating with humans—Gen. 6) that the Lord locked them up until judgment day.
kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day, Jude 6b
But the rest of the demon-angels roam the earth today. These are cast to the earth with Satan at the mid-point of the Tribulation.
And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him. Rev. 12:9
At the end of the Tribulation I always assumed these demons would be locked up/bound with Satan. Maybe, but there's no direct scriptural evidence that specifically says that.
Which raises the question, is it the sin nature that will be enticing humans to sin in the Millennium, or are there demons on earth during Jesus’ reign still messing with humans?
We do know all demon-angels will end up in the eternal flames of the lake of fire.
the eternal fire which has been prepared for the devil and his angels; Matt. 25:41
the devil who deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and brimstone Rev. 20:10a
Adding to the mystery, when Satan is released at the end of the Millennium for his last sifting of sinners before the New Heaven and Earth, there is no mention if his demons are released with him.
When the thousand years are completed, Satan will be released from his prison, and will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Rev. 20:7-8b
It just says Satan will entice Gog and Magog to come against the saints (Rev. 20:8,9). Hmmm….
We can only assume that all demons will be bound with Satan during the Millennium. It just doesn’t make sense any other way.
So despite Jesus being on the throne, without Satan or his angels luring humans into sin, sin continues on as earthlings will manage to sin all by themselves.
People born in the Millennium will be saved by faith, but not all of them. It’s hard for me to imagine people forgetting what it was like living through the Tribulation and surviving the earth being shaken to its core.
For thus it will be in the midst of the earth among the peoples, as the shaking of an olive tree, as the gleanings when the grape harvest is over. Is. 24:13
If you’ve ever witnessed how hard the branches of an olive tree are shaken to get the olives to fall to the ground, you understand why the mountains worldwide are flattened and all the islands sink. That’s a whole lotta shakin' going on!
All humans entering into the Millennium will be Believers, having survived the Tribulation and witnessed firsthand the power of God.
…the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LORD as the waters cover the sea. Is. 11:9b
Believers who are Raptured will live and reign with Christ in the Millennium.
Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. Rev. 20:6
The Raptured Believers will be joined by those Believers who die in the Tribulation:
And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand; and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. Rev. 20:4b
But it’s unclear how these two groups of Believers will assist Jesus in His reign. We do know we’ll be operating sinless in our new eternal bodies. That should be quite interesting!
We apparently will be able to move around at the speed of thought. I’m assuming my memory will be better and I won’t end up on star X3271J5P34 and then having to wonder why I zipped over there!
If we are going to live and reign with Christ on the earth, exactly what will we be doing? We don’t know exactly, but we do know that each of us has been given a spiritual gift from God in this life. And those spiritual gifts may very well be eternal.
People born in the Millennium will be saved by faith by trusting the shed blood of Jesus to pay for their sins. Their lives will be enhanced as they allow the Lord to rule their lives. Will we be teaching them God's truth?
Regardless, whatever responsibility the Lord gives His redeemed Believers in the Millennium, it's likely to be for eternal purposes.
Suffice it to say, whatever we'll be doing, no one will be disappointed!
Unfortunately, as the decades go by, some of the sinful humans living on earth during the Millennium will lose their 100% devotion to Jesus. These future generations will give birth to more sinners ... and 1000 years is a long time! Some of these will be duped by Satan one last time.
Before He casts Satan into the Lake of Fire forever, God will use him for that one last sifting-out of the worst-of-the-worst of sinners. Then God will destroy the current earth.
the heavens will pass away with a roar and the elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and its works will be burned up. 2Pet. 3:10b
So it doesn’t matter how much recycling you do, this present earth will burn up and the Lord will create a New Heaven and Earth.
Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, Rev. 21:1
In the New Heaven and Earth there will be no more sin. There will be no more evil, no more crying, no death, no more night, no more pain and no more liars. Almost hard to imagine!
And best of all, we’ll live sinlessly in the presence of God serving Him forever.
the tabernacle of God is among men, and He will dwell among them, and they shall be His people, and God Himself will be among them, Rev. 21:3b
So the Millennial reign of Christ is quite close—just a bit over 7 years away! Mortals will still deal with sin, and those Believers who've died, or were Raptured, will have new sinless bodies in which their spirits dwell.
And those on earth will finally enjoy true world peace.
the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. Is. 9:6

Well, I'll be....in a new doctrinal decree approved by Pope Leo XIV, the Vatican officially instructed Catholics not to refer to Mary as the "co-redeemer" of humanity.
