We'll be live online celebrating the last trumpet blowing of the Jewish Feast of Rosh Hashanah.
We'll be airing a live shot of the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem, learning some interesting signs of the times, pausing at 8:19 AM Pacific and then hearing Idaho Senator Ben Toews speak on "Christians And Politics In The Last Days."
You can join us live on your phone, tablet, computer or smart TV. We'll begin our signal at 7:45 AM on Compass.org/TV and YouTube (link will be provided later).
Those who follow Compass know we believe and teach that we don't know when the Rapture will occur. Could be anytime.
But we do think it's possible that the reference to the trumpet in Paul's first letter to the Corinthians gives us a clue.
Behold, I tell you a mystery; we will not all sleep, but we will all be changed, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 1Cor. 15:51-52
Paul also mentioned the trumpet in his letter to the church in his first God-inspired letter to the church in Thessalonica.
For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, 1Th. 4:15-17
The "mystery" is for us to figure out. And we think it's possible that the "last trumpet" is a reference to the Feast of Rosh Hashanah, also referred to as the Feast of Trumpets.
We don't think it's a coincidence that the first four major events of the Church Age landed exactly on the first four Jewish Holidays of the spring feast celebrations mandated by God.
Jesus' death Passover
Jesus' burial Unleavened Bread
Jesus' resurrection First Fruits
Holy Spirit's arrival Pentecost
Jesus' sacrificial death occurred on the Feast of Passover while the lambs were also being sacrificed. Jesus was in the grave while the Jews were observing the Feast of Unleavened Bread.
Jesus rose from the grave on the Feast of First Fruits and 50 days later God sent His Holy Spirit on the Feast of Pentecost.
Again, those first four major Christian events happening exactly on the first four Jewish feast days can't be an accident!
So it doesn't seem like a stretch to hypothesize that the next major event in the Church Age, the Rapture, will occur on the next Jewish Feast—the Feast of Rosh Hashanah. It's also referred to as the Feast of Trumpets— a day of gathering and celebration.
Rosh Hashanah is a two-day feast(1) mandated in the Book of Leviticus to proclaim the New Year which begins on Tishri 1 on the Jewish calendar. 
Tishri 1 is the first day of the seventh month and ends at sunset Tishri 2 with a final long blowing of the shofar (a ram's horn).
In the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of trumpets, Lev. 23:24b
The ram's horn is blown 100 times over the two-day feast. The last blowing is a long, loud blowing signifying the end of the feast.
So if our theory is correct, the Rapture / rescue of the Church Age saints will happen at sunset on the second day of the Feast of Trumpets. This year the final trumpet blowing will happen on October 4, 6:19 PM in Israel. That's 8:19 AM in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, 11:19 AM Eastern Time.
Our joyous exit may or may not happen this year, and it may or may not happen at the last trumpet blowing on Rosh Hashanah... but the Rapture WILL happen and we're getting closer by the day to the end of the Church Age.

We'll be live online beginning at 8 AM Pacific with some Biblical exegesis regarding the Signs of the Times. Then we'll pause at 8:19 AM in case we shoot skyward.
If we're still here(2) we'll conclude with Idaho Senator Ben Toews speaking on the topic of Christians and Politics in the Last Days.
Considering the national elections will be taking place 31 days later, it should be a quite-interesting presentation. He'll be followed by a Q & A and the web event will conclude at 9 AM.
Again, we don't know when the Rapture will happen as it's a signless event. But it's quite possible it will happen on the Feast of Trumpets, whichever year it occurs. And in case it's this year, we'll all be smiling.
If the Rapture doesn't happen this year, we'll have another year to reach friends and family with the Good News of salvation via Jesus' payment for our sins.
So mark your calendar and spread the word to watch our celebration on Oct. 4! And since the Lord may whisk us away, be sure to wear your best underwear Oct. 4 (because our clothes will be left behind and we'll be getting new "digs"!!).

For the year ending June 30th, the number of business bankruptcy filings was up more than 40 percent compared to the previous 12 months. The Biden administration can't manipulate this number. German officials attempted to start a criminal investigation into a Gab social media user who allegedly called a left-wing female politician "fat," but the platform refused to comply with the German authorities' invasive demands to uncover the person's identity, the platform told Fox News Digital.
The Federal Criminal Police Office (Bundeskriminalamt-BKA) contacted Gab about a user insulting the weight of politician Ricarda Lang, a prominent leader of an environmental party in Germany. It requested information that would identify who the individual was, under the suspicion they resided in Germany, so that they can continue their criminal investigation.
Torba called Germany's request "one of the more ridiculous foreign data requests that Gab received… [T]hey wanted us to dox a user for calling a female politician fat."
Gab's official response was to inform the German government they should "get bent," the CEO, Andrew Torba, told Fox News Digital.
According to Section 188 of Germany’s Criminal Code (StGB), which was amended in 2021, “insults, slander and defamation of people in political life” are punishable. This goes for insults directed at any official, even at the local level. German citizens can also be prosecuted for saying things that are deemed false.
In 2022 the BKA announced a “day of action” in which they arrested, investigated, and raided 100 Germans who had insulted officials online. The operation was conducted after police combed through 600 social media posts.
“Anyone who posts hate messages must expect the police to be at the door afterwards,” said BKA President Holger Münch in a statement at the time.
Regarding free speech, Münch said German law is clear: “Freedom of expression reaches its limits as soon as defamation, insults and threats are involved.”
Hessian Attorney General Torsten Kunze said the prosecution of Germans over offensive social media posts is necessary to protect democracy.
“In order to prevent the withdrawal of those affected from reaching a level that endangers democracy, we are prosecuting these crimes consistently and in close cooperation with the public prosecutors of the other federal states,” said Kunze.

Jeff Childers is reporting that Russia is destroying electrical power plants, making the upcoming winter look bleak for Ukrainian citizens.
A major key to keeping any form of war supplies for Ukraine's troops is the city of Pokrovsk.
“When the Russians capture Pokrovsk, absent some unforeseen miracle, they will have shut down Ukraine’s ability to easily supply its troops in the Eastern half of Ukraine. Hence, Russia will have won the logistical war.”
Germany just halted all Ukraine war expenditures. So even if the United States and others keep sending guns and bullets, it won’t make any difference if they can’t get them to the troops.
If Pokrovsk falls, Ukraine will be the proverbial "dead man walking."
