(For those relatively new to Compass, we’ve already established in past articles that the United States IS in the Bible as the latter-day Babylon. If you've not read our article, CLICK HERE to read the reasons we know this to be true.)
In recent articles we’ve been looking closely at Revelation 18. This article dives into the timing of America’s fall and the Rapture. We’ll answer the question “Has America already fallen?”
If the Rapture happens October 4, we should have little to be concerned about. All Believers win; not one will be disappointed. All non-believers lose; none will be happy.
But what if the Rapture doesn’t happen this year? For the last ten years or so, my best guess has been that the Rapture could happen by 2026.
I arrived at that number by simply adding 2000 Church Age years to Jesus’ crucifixion in 33 AD and subtracting 7 years for the Tribulation judgment.
IF I’M NOT CORRECT and we’re still here in 2027, then obviously the 7-year Tribulation is not subtracted from the 2000-year Church Age. Uncomfortably that would mean the Rapture/Rescue of Believers might not happen until 2033. 🙁
I don’t think the Rapture happening NINE years from now has a snowball’s chance in Hades. Of course, I obviously could be wrong about that—I’m NOT date setting—just analyzing the God-given signs of the times.
IF I AM CORRECT about 2026 being the latest year, and this year we pass October 4th sunset in Israel with our clothes on, it certainly could get dicey just making it to Rosh Hashanah 2025, much less 2026.
With all those unanswered questions, let’s see what we can learn from Rev. 18:2-4.
And he [an angel from heaven] cried out with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place of demons and a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hateful bird. For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the passion of her immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed acts of immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich by the wealth of her sensuality. I heard another voice from heaven [Jesus Christ], saying, “Come out of her, my people, so that you will not participate in her sins and receive of her plagues;” Rev. 18:2-4
Before the Rapture
“fallen is Babylon” v.2
Before the Rapture the USA will have already fallen into the pits of gross immorality. We easily see that today with the almost unbelievable anti-Biblical stances our nation embraces.
The USA was founded on Biblical principles as evidenced by multiple references to the Creator God in our Declaration of Independence and other documents by the Founding Fathers. Obviously Satan, “the god of this world” (2Cor. 4:4) has been actively working against this nation since its inception.
But the Lord allowed the USA to prosper, peaking in World War II. Then God used the USA to support Israel’s rebirth as a nation in 1948.
Babylon has been a golden cup in the hand of the LORD, intoxicating all the earth. Jer. 51:7a
If that’s a veiled reference to the USA, and I think it is, God’s had His hand in directing its affairs, nationally and globally. He’s used the USA as the world’s “military hammer.”
"How the hammer of the whole earth...has been cut off and broken!" Jer. 50:23
He says, "You are My war-club, My weapon of war;" Jer. 51:20
Since 1948 the USA has slowly declined. Many believe that today we’ve lost the battle and our enemies are entrenched in our government. Seems like that could be true. We’re a mere shadow of what we were 50 years ago.
Most individual Believers don’t embrace today’s horrible stances the USA takes on homosexual activity, transgenderism, murder of innocent babies, pornography and euthanasia. But as a nation, it’s as bad as anytime in the history of the world.
But the point is, today it’s obvious that our government is not upholding Biblical principles. The USA has “fallen” in the eyes of the Lord… and to anyone paying attention.
“a dwelling place of demons” v.2
The influence on American society by demonic activity has grown off the charts. Seems like something opened the closet door in 2020.
“all the nations” and “all the kings” have "committed immorality” with her v.3
The influence of the USA on other countries around the world is unprecedented.
“merchants of the earth have become rich” v.3
As the world’s largest importer of both good and evil, the purchasing power of the USA drove the profits for merchants around the world.
"Come out of her, my people," v.4
Jesus calls Believers to Himself in the sky before He unleashes His 7 years of unimaginable wrath on the earth.
“in one day her plagues will come” v.8(1)
The sudden Rapture/Rescue of Believers will catch the non-believers in the USA off-guard, without warning.
So Rev. 18:2-4 shows us the Bible predicted the USA’s immoral failures before the Rapture. But it also shows that until the Rapture, we will have food, drink, an economy, and social events.
After the Rapture the food disappears, the factories stop, and the lights go out.
So if we don’t make our joyful exit this year, even though 2025 or 2026 looks a long way off, if I’m understanding scripture correctly, we should still have an economy until the Rapture happens, whenever that is.

I feel sorry for anyone trying to understand what's going on in the world today without having the Bible as a guide!
We are living at a time when 2000-year-old prophecies are falling into place. Believers living today have a GREAT chance of avoiding physical death and instead being instantly transported to heaven. Sort of like "Beam me up, Scotty" in the Star Trek series.
But as things get close to that amazing moment, it may very well get uncomfortable for Believers. If we try to live first for the Lord we're promised persecution (2Tim. 3:12) but not God's wrath (1Thess. 5:9).
Thankfully we know Who is really in control, and we know all things work together for us Believers in the long run.
And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Rom. 8:28
So we can trust the Bible over all else. We don't seek man's answers via drugs. We try to do nothing to compromise our God-designed immune system.
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

According to Buck and Clay on the radio yesterday, the US Government/Biden has secretly FLOWN some 70K Haitians directly into the USA. They were given special status and can't be deported.
It's been estimated that some 30 million illegals have been allowed to come into the USA since Biden took office. If Harris is sworn in, she will break Biden's record during her first four years in office.

And, no surprise, Cuba’s communist regime sentenced dissident José Manuel Barreiro Rouco to two and a half years in prison for having privately shared anti-regime memes with his family, Martí Noticias reported on Wednesday.

Cuban journalist José Raúl Gallego, who resides in Mexico, told Martí Noticias that Barreiro Rouco’s case is an example of the extreme human rights violations that exist in Cuba.
“We are talking about a person who is being asked to serve two and a half years in prison for sharing images that alluded to leaders of the regime in a private group of his family of 11 people,” Gallego said.
“In other words, how extreme is the persecution, the abuses, the paranoia, that they can imprison a person for what he shares with his family in a closed environment that has no reach whatsoever?” he questioned.

The Federal Reserve is in the news as its rate-hiking farce has come to its predictable end.
The Fed had embarked on one of the steepest rate hike cycles in history in 2022. They did so because price increases were spiraling out of control after the Fed inflated the money supply by around 40%—a staggering amount—amid the Covid mass psychosis starting in 2020.
In other words, they were forced to embark on this steep rate hike cycle to combat the inflation that they caused in the first place.
At the time, I knew they would never be able to tame inflation because of the skyrocketing federal debt load. If the Fed was able to raise interest rates to the point where it would actually defeat inflation, the rising interest expense on this exploding pile of debt would have bankrupted the US government.
The federal debt’s interest cost is already higher than the defense budget. Soon, it could exceed Social Security and other entitlements and become the number one item in the federal budget.
For context, the last time inflation was raging, Fed Chair Paul Volcker needed to raise interest rates above 17%. However, that was in the early 1980s, when the US debt-to-GDP ratio was around 30%. Today, it’s north of 123% and rising rapidly.
Today’s higher debt load and accompanying interest expense are why the Volcker option is not on the table. There’s no way the Fed could raise rates anywhere near 17%. They barely took rates above 5% this time before capitulating—not even 1/3 of what Volcker did.
In short…
Considering all of this, Fed Chair Powell’s recent announcement that the rate hike cycle is officially over shouldn’t have been a surprise. Now, we’re going back to monetary easing.
They didn’t even reach their totally arbitrary 2% CPI target before they declared a fake victory.
By the way, targeting 2% inflation is a nonsensical concept. Inflation is poisonous at any level. Think of it like a bucket that continuously leaks 2% of the water it carries.
In short, the Fed’s narrative that inflation has been defeated is so laughably ridiculous that the only explanation is deliberate deception.
They are gaslighting people and spewing propaganda.
So, why are they attempting to deceive people?
Nobody knows for sure except them.
But if I had to guess, they are desperately trying to conceal the massive economic destruction they have already caused and the coming destruction they will cause, which could be much worse than anything we’ve seen so far.
It could all go down soon… and it won’t be pretty.
It will result in an enormous wealth transfer from savers to the parasitical class—politicians, central bankers, and those connected to them.
