The grand disappearance is the next big event in the Church Age. But who's paying attention? Not that many. Yet God says He'll tell us all about it through scripture.
Surely the Lord GOD does nothing unless He reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets. Amos 3:7
Scripture is our measuring stick against false teaching. And there's a lot of it in the last days.
But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, 1Tim. 4:1
So to discuss whether or not we can know when the Rapture will happen should make your spiritual defenses kick in. Chuck Missler used to often say, "Be like a Berean—don't believe anything I'm telling you unless you can confirm it in scripture."
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter. Prov. 25:2
Just before the cross on the Mount of Olives, Jesus' disciples asked Him what will be the signs of His coming. The first thing Jesus said was "See that no one misleads you." Matt.24:4
Peter wrote:
But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will also be false teachers among you, who will secretly introduce destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing swift destruction upon themselves. 2Pet. 2:1
With some 30% of the Bible connected to Bible prophecy, there's a lot of scripture to consider regarding our fascinatingly abrupt departure. Most good Bible prophecy teachers say the safest path to understanding God's Word is to simply take it literally whenever possible.
That method is confirmed in the fact that all past prophecies were fulfilled literally. Therefore we can expect the future prophecy fulfillment to be literal also!
You can also get confused by not viewing the Bible from a dispensational perspective. God doesn't change, but He changes how He deals with humans depending on the time in which they live.
God dealt with Adam differently than He did with Noah. He deals with the Jews who lived in the time period, or dispensation, of Israel differently than He does with Believers today.
As an example, whenever I mention when the Rapture might take place, I immediately hear: “The Bible says ‘no one knows the day or the hour of Jesus’ return.'” That response is always based on this verse:
“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father alone.” Matt. 24:36
But if you take that verse literally, it would mean Jesus doesn’t have a clue when He’s returning. Really? If He’s God, how does He not know when He’s coming back for His Saints?
The answer is easy if you apply dispensational theology. It immediately clears up the problem. You simply take scripture literally, within context in the correct dispensation.
Using dispensations to divide scripture, you find Jesus was clearly speaking to the Jews before the cross who were under the law. There were no Christians in his audience.
It was a true statement when He said it to the Jews, but not true today. This is because after the cross, in Revelation 5, we see Jesus having qualified to receive all knowledge.
…behold the Lion that is from the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has overcome so as to open the book and its seven seals. Rev. 5:5
Today, Jesus knows when He’s coming at the Rapture. And regarding WHEN the Rapture will take place, God tells Born Again Believers living after the cross:
But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day would overtake you like a thief; for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; 1Thes. 5:4,5
We will not be in the dark about that DAY, the day of the Rapture. In chart form, it looks like this:
It’s fascinating that God told the Jews the exact day He would arrive as their Messiah. The EXACT day was prophesied! He said it would be 173,880 days from the commandment to rebuild Jerusalem.(1)
“So you are to know and discern that from the issuing of a decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until Messiah the Prince there will be seven weeks and sixty-two weeks [173,880 days];” Dan. 9:25a
Artaxerxes issued the decree on March 5, 444 BC (Neh.2:1-8). He granted the Jews permission to rebuild Jerusalem's city walls.(3)
Sure enough, when Jesus topped the Mount of Olives on the foal of a donkey, it was the exact day that was prophesied by Daniel 571 years earlier. Jesus was brokenhearted when the Jewish leadership missed the fact that prophecy was being fulfilled.
When He approached Jerusalem, He saw the city and wept (Greek = “sobbed”) over it, saying, “If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes. Luke 19:41-42
Here's the point... if God told the Jews the exact day He was coming the first time, it’s not a stretch to wonder if He will tell the Church when He’s coming the second time.
If Born Again Believers are not in darkness about the day Jesus will arrive in the sky to rescue us, what are the signs we should watch for? Unlike the Jews before the Cross, we have Holy Spirit enlightenment.
And God’s Holy Spirit enlightens/illuminates scripture. Illuminate us, Lord!
7000-Year Day Age Theory
Most Jewish sages ascribe to a 7000-year human existence beginning with Adam. This is based on the 7 Days of Creation model... each day representing 1000 years.
For a thousand years in Your sight are like yesterday when it passes by, Psa. 90:4
To clarify, the chart does not say the 7 Days of Creation took 7000 years. God created the earth in 6 literal 24-hour days and rested on the 7th day. This is the MODEL for 7000 years of human history.
We also ascribe to this 7-day Creation Week model. We see that in the first four 24-hour days there was no life created. Jesus came after 4000 years of Biblical history and brought life. On Days 5 and 6 God created life. Then He rested on the 7th day.
We think the following verses line up with a 2000-year-long Church Age:
“Come, let us return to the LORD. For He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us. He will revive us after two days; He will raise us up on the third day, that we may live before Him.” Hosea 6:1-2
That verse in chart form:
That prophecy is fascinating! It fits the prophetic timeline like a glove. The Jews are scattered and persecuted worldwide for some 2000 years before their Messiah comes back to the earth when they live before Him for 1000 years—what we refer to as the Millennial Reign of Christ.
As a side note, Chuck Missler taught that prophecy to western peeps is prediction and fulfillment. But to Jews, prophecy is patterns. Interesting Chuck, as usual!
The Cana Connection
Jesus' instructions for filling the six waterpots at the wedding in Cana may reflect the human length of time on the earth.
Now there were six stone waterpots set there for the Jewish custom of purification, John 2:6a
The Lazarus Connection
It's so interesting that Lazarus was dead for four days before Jesus came and brought him back to life.
Jesus said, “Remove the stone.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to Him, “Lord, by this time there will be a stench, for he has been dead four days.” John 11:39
I think buried in this verse (no pun intended) are the four days referring to the first 4000 years of human history. Just like the 7-Day creation model lays out, there was no life created on the first four days. Then Jesus comes and brings life.
The Samaritan Connection
The only time scripture records Jesus going away to the non-Jews was for two days. Many of these non-Jews were saved believing Jesus was the Savior before He returned to the Jews in Galilee on day 3.
So when the Samaritans [non-Jews] came to Jesus, they were asking Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. Many more believed because of His word; and they were saying to the woman, “It is no longer because of what you said that we believe, for we have heard for ourselves and know that this One is indeed the Savior of the world." After the two days He went forth from there into Galilee. John 4:40-43
Moses At Mount Sinai Connection
When Moses was at Mt. Sinai, check out what's hidden in scripture:
The LORD also said to Moses, “Go to the people and consecrate them today and tomorrow, and let them wash their garments; and let them be ready for the third day, for on the third day the LORD will come down on Mount Sinai in the sight of all the people. Ex. 19:10-11
That also fits like a glove! In the Church Age Believers are consecrated / washed by the blood of Jesus for 2000 years. Then the third day is the 1000 year Millennial Reign of Christ.
The Mt. Sinai account goes on to say:
So it came about on the third day, when it was morning, that there were thunder and lightning flashes and a thick cloud upon the mountain and a very loud trumpet sound, Ex. 19:16
Compare to:
“For just as the lightning comes from the east and flashes even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be." Matt. 24:27
Amazing! Sounds to me like Moses, knowingly or unknowingly, outlines the Church Age and the Rapture!
For Pete's Sake Connection
But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. 2Pet. 3:8
It’s interesting that ready, fire, aim Peter says, in essence, “Don’t miss this fact!” A lot of people have missed that fact. Just saying...
So it's a no-brainer to conclude the Church Age lasts 2000 years. And the clock started in 33 AD.
Days Of Noah and Lot Connection
The Bible says the Rapture will be "just like" the days of Noah and Lot, showing in no uncertain terms that daily activities will be normal right up to the Rapture. And then, in a split second, things abruptly change, to say the least.
Matthew 24 describes the days of Noah and Luke 17 describes Noah and Lot. "Just like" means "just like." Here is a simple recap chart:
The chart compares what will be happening before the Rapture to what happens immediately after the Rapture. So things will be normal...we will have food, an economy, social events and construction right up to our grand exit.

The warning flyer shows verse summaries of some of the things that happen immediately following the Rapture. And if we're close to the Rapture, it shows a list of what we should be seeing today in white letters.
It's a pretty simple chart... on the right in the green are some key things the Bible says will happen after the Rapture. So the red chart in white letters shows what we should be seeing if we're getting close to the Rapture.
And those prophecies were all written between 2000 and 2600 years ago! Obviously not written by man's wisdom.
But know this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture is a matter of one’s own interpretation, for no prophecy was ever made by an act of human will, but men moved by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. 2Pet. 1:20
The Rosh Hashanah Connection
Did you know that the first four major events in the Church Age landed exactly on the first four Jewish Feast days in the spring months? Do you think that's a coincidence? Hardly!
Jesus’ crucifixion was on the Feast of Passover. When the Jews were slaying the lambs for sacrifice, Jesus was being slain on the cross.
Jesus’ burial was during the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Jesus is the "Bread of life."
Jesus’ resurrection was on the Feast of First Fruits. This made it possible for all Born Again Believers to be resurrected straight to heaven.
God’s Holy Spirit arrived on earth on the Feast of Pentecost. The Jews offered two loaves of bread symbolizing the Church was now made up of Jew and Gentile.
Here’s a good chart of all 7 Jewish Feasts and the connection to the Church Age (click on the graphic below to make it larger):
After the springs feasts, there is a break until the fall. Rosh Hashanah is the next feast on the list of fall feasts. It's the only Jewish Feast that's two days long. The other 6 Feasts are either 1 day or 7 days long.
God seems to really like trumpets. Remember when God told Joshua how to conquer Jericho (blow trumpets!).
The seven priests carrying the seven trumpets of rams’ horns before the ark of the LORD went on continually, and blew the trumpets; and the armed men went before them and the rear guard came after the ark of the LORD, while they continued to blow the trumpets. Josh. 6:13
Gideon used 300 trumpets to defeat the Midianites (Judges 7:22).
In Leviticus 25, God used trumpets to proclaim liberty throughout the land. And God has one entire feast built around trumpets—Rosh Hashanah!
“Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, ‘In the seventh month on the first of the month you shall have a rest, a reminder by blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation." Lev. 23:24
Rosh Hashanah is a two-day festival of gathering, celebrating and blowing trumpets. At the end of the second feast day there’s one long trumpet blast at sunset.
So on Rosh Hashanah you have two days that end with a loud trumpet blast. No doubt about it, the feast lines up with these two famous Rapture verses:
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. 1Cor. 15:52
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 1Th. 4:16
Conclusion...
If God told the Jews the exact day their Messiah would arrive, it should not surprise Believers to find scriptures that point to a particular day. In this case, it's sunset of the second day of Rosh Hashanah.
But even if we're correct about the Rapture happening at sunset on the second day of the feast, we still don't know what year.
I think the year logically should be 2000 years from Jesus' crucifixion—which is 2033. But some understandably believe you have to subtract the 7-year Tribulation from 2033, which would be Rosh Hashanah 2026.
The last Rosh Hashanah trump is blown at sunset this year in Jerusalem, Sunday, September 13...which is morning in the USA. Don't miss church that day!! And remember to wear clean underwear—just in case!
But, for the record, I just don't see Rapture happening in 2026 in scripture. And yes, I see all the prophecies that are being fulfilled, so I could be wrong.
For fun, here's one more...
The 7-Day Noah Warning Connection
(Note—this is pure speculation on my part. I have never seen anyone else make this connection. It would be hard to believe I'm the only one who saw this one!)
When Noah was apparently finished building the ark, God said to him:
“For after seven more days, I will send rain on the earth.” Gen. 7:4
God gave Noah a 7-day warning before the flood. I bet he just about wet his robe! Imagine the anticipation after building that ark for over 100 years!
So here's the theory: The time before Rapture is a mirror of the time in the Days of Noah before the flood.
The next graphic represents the Days of Noah described in Matthew 24 and Luke 17.
“And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man:" Luke 17:26
“For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. Matt. 24:37
Applying this to the time of the Rapture, things will be normal but wickedness will abound while the Lord is patient. Suddenly the Rapture lifts the Church out of the earth, over the Tribulation.
When the carnage is over, we'll return with Christ at His Second Coming and a new age, the dispensation of the Millennial Reign of Christ over the earth will begin.
Since Noah represents the Church, the question is, does "just like" the Days of Noah also include God's 7-day warning? Will the Lord give Believers a 7-day warning before the Rapture?
Since the 7-day warning was not listed in the Days of Noah descriptions, we simply don't know.
But it IS possible that 7 days before the Rapture God could somehow, some way, message every Born Again Believer that after seven more days the Rapture will take place. Pinch me! Would that be wild or what!
Believers would be off the chart ecstatic. Who would you tell? Millions getting the same message from God would stir the world. Most non-Believers would scoff and mock.
The following verse might have something to do with a 7-day Rapture warning:
Know this first of all, that in the last days mockers will come with their mocking, following after their own lusts, and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all continues just as it was from the beginning of creation.” 2Pet. 3:3
What would cause the world to simultaneously be asking that question? Maybe the Rapture!
And since the mockers know about creation, the mocking might be loudest from those within the Church. If the Rapture IS this year, AND God gives us a 7-day heads-up, then Sunday, September 6 would be an exciting day.
Regardless of whether or not God gives us a 7-day warning, if we’re right about the Rapture happening on Rosh Hashanah we’ve only got seven more Rosh Hashanahs before the 2000-year-long Church Age timeline runs out.
Either way, we're coming to the end of the prophesied Church Age!

The 70 “sevens” would begin, Gabriel said, with the issuing of the decree to restore and rebuild Jerusalem.
This decree was the fourth of four decrees made by Persian rulers in reference to the Jews.
The first was Cyrus’ decree in 538 B.C. (2 Chron. 36:22-23; Ezra 1:1-4; 5:13).
The second was the decree of Darius I (522-486) in 520 B.C. (Ezra 6:1, 6-12). This decree actually was a confirmation of the first decree.
The third was the decree of Artaxerxes Longimanus (464-424) in 458 B.C. (Ezra 7:11-26).
The first two decrees pertain to the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem and the third relates to finances for animal sacrifices at the temple. These three say nothing about the rebuilding of the city itself.
Since an unwalled city was no threat to a military power, a religious temple could be rebuilt without jeopardizing the military authority of those granting permission to rebuild it.
No one of these three decrees, then, was the decree that formed the beginning of the 70 sevens.
The fourth decree was also by Artaxerxes Longimanus, issued on March 5, 444 B.C. (Neh. 2:1-8). On that occasion Artaxerxes granted the Jews permission to rebuild Jerusalem’s city walls. This decree is the one referred to in Daniel 9:25.

Our assignment on this earth is not to continually improve it, making renovations to usher in Christ’s kingdom. While the Holy Spirit operates through the church to restrain the evil of our day, we know where this world is headed.
That is why many are looking for the true rescue known as the “Blessed Hope,” the Rapture of believers, out of this Titanic.

The SARS-CoV-2 spike protein disrupts key pathways of cellular regulation and immune surveillance, contributing to oncogenesis (turning normal cells into cancer cells).
A total of 69 publications were compared: 66 article-level reports describing 333 patients across 27 countries and including 2 retrospective population-level investigations.
Most of the studies documented hematologic malignancies (non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas, cutaneous lymphomas, leukemias), solid tumors (breast, lung, melanoma, sarcoma, pancreatic cancer, and glioblastoma), and virus-associated cancers (Kaposi and Merkel cell carcinoma).
Excess deaths from cancer have been observed in both men and women, with the greatest increase occurring among individuals aged 75 and older.
Given its systemic impact, COVID-19 va((ination is likely promoting malignancies in a wide range of organ systems, including those where cancer is typically rare.
You also know it's true because if you search "Turbo Cancer" on Google you get over a hundred articles on why Turbo Cancer is fake science...but no links to any studies showing peer reviewed studies showing otherwise. I wonder why that is? No I don't!

This is a great assessment of how Russia, Turkey and Iran, the three big nations in the future who attack Israel along with several smaller ones, have a growing incentive to do just what the Bible describes.
However, for two main reasons, the Ezekiel 38 war is nothing we will have to worry about in our lifetime on earth because we'll be long gone.
1) The invasion happens when Israel is at peace, which is post-Rapture.
Living securely, all of them Ezek. 38:8b
and you will say, ‘I will go up against the land of unwalled villages. I will go against those who are at rest, that live securely, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates' Ezek. 38:11
2) The invasion takes place at the time of a worldwide earthquake. This earthquake is so large that mountains fall down and it’s felt around the Earth.
“In My zeal and in My blazing wrath I declare that on that day there will surely be a great earthquake in the land of Israel. The fish of the sea, the birds of the heavens, the beasts of the field, all the creeping things that creep on the earth, and all the men who are on the face of the earth will shake at My presence; the mountains also will be thrown down, the steep pathways will collapse and every wall will fall to the ground.” Ezek. 38:19-21
Post-Rapture, there are only two worldwide earthquakes, one during the 6th Seal and another at the very end of the Tribulation at the 7th Bowl. So we have nothing to worry about because the Ezekiel 38 invasion takes place well into the Tribulation.

In Compass eNews June 22, 2022, we first linked to web videos showing scientists dissecting these tissue clots. I refer to them as “tissue clots” because early on people were confusing them with blood clots, which they are not.
These continuously growing tissues are not dissimilar to the way cancer grows. And of course, they are not included in the cancer statistics which are already skyrocketing for people who are Covid-vaxxed.
With the morticians showing that some 23% of their cadavers having these continuously growing tissue clots, it makes you wonder if they are a ticking time bomb for so many who are Covid-vaxxed.
And that makes you wonder if all this is tied into the massive number of deaths in the first few years of the Tribulation. If so, it argues for the Rapture to happen sooner than later.

Australia became one of the first major democracies to introduce one of the world’s toughest social media laws, banning access for children under 16 in December 2025. Since then, several countries have adopted or announced similar measures.
“I have sworn by Myself, the word has gone forth from My mouth in righteousness and will not turn back, that to Me every knee will bow, every tongue will swear allegiance." Is. 45:23
God won't be dealing with computers, you'll need a tongue!
The basic assumption of amillennialism is that God is finished with Israel. They reach this conclusion in at least a couple of ways.
Some claim that God rejected Israel after Jesus’ crucifixion and replaced the nation with the church (Replacement Theology).
Others insist that the Lord always intended for Israel to become the church as part of a continuing covenant of grace.
The four basic tenets of amillennialism, listed below, rest entirely on its core assumption that God’s purpose for the nation of Israel has ended:
The church is the new Israel.
There will be no future restoration of a kingdom to Israel.
There will be no literal seven-year Tribulation.
There will be no literal thousand-year reign of Jesus in-between the Tribulation and eternal state.
What if God is not done with Israel? Scripture says:
God has not rejected His people whom He foreknew. Rom. 11:2
End of argument.
But here's another good assessment of bad theology...

In that day it shall be—’The Lord is one,’ and His name one.” Zech. 14:9
Some have offered the solution that the millennium is not literal but figurative. They say there will be no actual millennium in which Jesus rules the earth and the glorified saints rule with Him.
Still others say we are already in the millennium, or that Jesus can’t come back and begin the millennium until the church has dominion over the world.
What does Scripture say? Is the millennium an actual future time period? Will we literally return with Jesus, and will He rule the world from David’s throne? The answer to all of these questions is yes!
We know this because scripture says 6 times in 6 straight verses (Rev. 20:1-8) that the 1000 years is literal.
bound him for a thousand years;
till the thousand years were finished.
they lived and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
until the thousand years were finished.

The Greek word “chilioi,” which translates to “a thousand,” is used six times in Revelation 20 and is found 11 times in the New Testament. Every single time, the word is used in a literal sense.
The one time the word is used in an illustration, it still carries a literal meaning:
“Beloved, do not forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day” 2Pet. 3:8
Peter was making the point that God dwells outside of time. He was not establishing an equation to calculate the approximate timing of the Rapture or the duration of time before the millennium.
The “thousand years”/“one day” comparison he made would have to be understood as literal to make any sense. This and the other usages of “chilioi” establish that the only way to interpret the term is literally. So yes, the 1,000 years is literal and not figurative.
The church does not need to and will not have dominion over the world before Jesus can rule over it. Jesus is going to rule the world because He is God, not because the church made it ready for Him by taking dominion over it.
