Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. Rom. 13:1
Obey your leaders and submit to them, for they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. Heb. 13:17a
Being under authority of the government is a command from God. When we obey, we’re showing respect to the Lord Who put them in place as they are God’s servants.
That statement only makes sense if you believe the Bible is without error and God is in control of everything at all times. It sure helps when you know God is in control of JRB!
The king’s heart is like channels of water in the hand of the LORD; He turns it wherever He wishes. Prov. 21:1
Obviously, scripture has several examples of NOT obeying if the government is asking you to sin. Here’s one example in Acts 5:
But Peter and the apostles answered, “We must obey God rather than men." Acts 5:29
So if the government is asking you to serve another God, like Daniel in Dan. 2, we should never comply. If the government asks you to defile your body, a body made in the image of God, the response is also “nope."
Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are. 1Cor. 3:16-17
That would obviously include any gene-therapy treatments (falsely referred to as va((ines) that change your God-designed DNA.
For Americans, until recently, it’s not been that hard to be under subjection to our government. But Romans 13:1 was also written to Believers in China, Russia, Iran, etc. So let’s look back at the time when this was written and see what we can learn.
Nero
It’s always been amazing to me that when Paul wrote the above verse to the Believers in Rome in 60 AD, Nero was the Roman Emperor. He was arguably the worst persecutor of Christians who’s ever lived.
Nero blamed the Great Fire of Rome in 64 AD on Christians and used this accusation as an excuse to arrest and burn many Christians to death. He also crucified them.
Not to miss an opportunity he even sold tickets for people to watch Christians be eaten by wild beasts to raise money for a new palace.
These horrible death sentences given to Christians were not issued for justice but rather out of personal cruelty. Satan was guiding his horror, whether he knew it or not.
Whole families—men, women and children—would be staked to the center of arenas for ticket holders to watch young children being torn limb by limb by hungry lions.
Nero also burned Christians on poles as living lights for his parties. Not sure how his party guests could talk over the screams.
So imagine what it was like for a First Century Believer to read what Paul was writing regarding being in subjection to governing authorities.
Thankfully it’s not that bad in America. But there are some J6 protestors that might argue that it IS pretty bad!
Regardless, today we Believers have specific instructions that have not changed. We are not to obey authorities only if we agree with them.
Peter
In 60 AD Peter wrote in his first letter about being obedient to the Roman government. Having started out as a “Ready, Fire, Aim” kind of guy, this would have been quite the transformation.
Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether to a king as the one in authority, or to governors as sent by him for the punishment of evildoers and the praise of those who do right. 1Pet. 2:13-14
Peter said the Believers’ motivation for obedience was not to avoid punishment but rather for the Lord’s sake. We are to honor God who ordained human government. Christians are to observe man-made laws carefully as long as those laws do not conflict with the clear teaching of Scripture.
And when they had summoned them, they commanded them not to speak or teach at all in the name of Jesus. But Peter and John answered and said to them, “Whether it is right in the sight of God to give heed to you rather than to God, you be the judge; for we cannot stop speaking about what we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:18-20
Paul’s Letter to Titus
In his letter to Pastor Titus in 65 AD, one year AFTER the Great Fire of Rome while under Nero’s unmerciful Christian persecution, Paul outlined seven qualities that were to be expected to be found in citizen Believers. The first on his list was to be under their authority.
Remind them to be subject to rulers, to authorities, to be obedient, to be ready for every good deed, to malign no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing every consideration for all men. Titus 3:1-2
Paul’s First Letter to Timothy
In 66 AD, two years after the Great Roman Fire and in the midst of the Nero’s persecution, Paul said to pray for our leaders so we can lead a peaceful and tranquil life.
…I urge that entreaties and prayers, petitions and thanksgivings, be made on behalf of all men, for kings and all who are in authority, so that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. 1Tim. 2:1-2
Paul knew the power of Prayer. He knew God heard every word he spoke and thought. If Paul could pray for Nero, we can pray for Biden. It’s not easy! About the best I can do is pray for "our leaders in Washington." Just saying...
All these exhortations are in the Church Age and are in stark contrast to the next time period, the next dispensation called the Tribulation, where Israel’s leaders will rightly call down the judgment of God on the ungodly men.
And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy for twelve hundred and sixty days, clothed in sackcloth. And if anyone wants to harm them, fire flows out of their mouth and devours their enemies; so if anyone wants to harm them, he must be killed in this way. These have the power to shut up the sky, so that rain will not fall during the days of their prophesying; and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every plague, as often as they desire. Rev. 11:3,5,6
This clearly shows the dispensational divide between the Church Age and the Tribulation—neither Paul nor Peter had a worry about the coming Tribulation.
No guidance was offered regarding governmental obedience in the Tribulation. Post-Rapture, Satan will have unfettered authority over the earth and anyone getting saved will have to run and hide to keep from getting killed.
But for those who do get saved in the Tribulation, they have a glorious future and will sit before the heavenly throne of Jesus adorned in white.
“These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?” I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.” Rev. 7:13b-17
This silence by New Testament writers regarding Tribulation preparation is a clear sign Believes won’t be here during God’s wrath. Paul describes the days before the Rapture as normal days—just as Jesus did.(1)
not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day (Rapture) drawing near. Heb. 10:25
This means Believers should be able to see the end of the Church Age coming to a close and the Tribulation getting ready to start. I see it as clear as a bell.
That’s the basis for our committing to mail out one million mailers to random people over the next two years all across the USA. We’ve now sent 50K in January and 50K in February.

I have heard numerous public health officials state that SARS-CoV-2 infection causes more myocarditis than COVID-19 vaccination. The American College of Cardiology has used this platform as a twisted rationale for giving out COVID-19 vaccines, and in a perverted manner, creating more myocarditis in the population.
If SARS-CoV-2 infection caused myocarditis or inflammation of heart muscle tissue, then it would be seen on autopsy in fatal cases of COVID-19. Poloni et al specifically examined the heart of fatal COVID-19 cases and concluded the virus does not infect the heart.
There is "new" information questioning the so-called benefits of annual flu vaccines.
A recent study co-authored by the CDC U.S. Flu Vaccine Effectiveness Network Investigators found that repeat annual flu vaccines are associated with an INCREASED risk of getting the flu.
This is alarming news for anyone who has been repeatedly told by Big Pharma and their cronies that flu vaccines are safe and effective.
It turns out that this information isn’t new. As far back as the 1970s, studies have shown that repeat flu vaccination was linked to reduced vaccine protection. The more a person is vaccinated against a particular strain of the flu virus, the less effective the vaccine becomes.
This means that the flu shots you receive every year are actually making you more susceptible to getting the flu.
My firsthand experience with this issue likely contributed to my advocacy over Covid. As a board-certified emergency physician, I have taken care of hundreds of influenza patients. After just a few years, I noticed that every person I admitted into the hospital with influenza had taken the annual influenza shot. I myself took the flu shot because it was a job requirement, but I always knew it was foolish.
It is well known in the medical community that natural immunity obtained by contracting an infection is more effective than the short-term immunity gained from flu vaccines.
So, why the push each year for the vaccine? You guessed it: money.(*)

New Zealand resident Chris Johnston submitted an OIA request (similar to a FOIA) to the New Zealand health officials.
The data they returned shows that the COVID vaccines didn’t save anyone from dying from COVID. They did the opposite: they increased mortality. Even worse, when COVID deaths peaked in July 2022, the vaccinated were disproportionately affected.
In short, they lied. Their own data shows that if you followed their advice, it was more likely you’d die during a COVID outbreak.
The reason mainstream epidemiologists are avoiding the latest New Zealand data drop from the health authorities is that it shows the vaccines increased your risk of dying from COVID.
So these epidemiologists stay silent and refuse to be questioned or participate in any public discussions about the data.

Over 70% of Service Members Say They Felt ‘Coerced’ Into Taking COVID Vaccine: Survey
Over 70% of individuals serving in the U.S. military who responded to an Epoch Times survey said they felt “coerced” into taking the COVID-19 vaccine and/or booster after the Pentagon issued a 2021 mandate to do so.
The survey, conducted last fall, spanned all branches of the military and included both enlisted and officer ranks. The average length of service was around 16 years.
One 20-year Army combat veteran told the outlet that he opposed the mandate. “I’m not a lab rat and neither are the people I work with,” he said, adding “While holding out [from taking the vaccines], I was forced to wear a mask and was often singled out for being unvaccinated.”
Like Officer Johnson, a majority of survey participants said they were “coerced” into receiving a vaccine and/or boosters. Nearly 95% of those who objected to the mandate said they faced reprisals, including verbal threats of punitive legal action, loss of promotion, and exclusion from career-enhancing schools.

Monday, April 24, a total eclipse will pass over the USA from Mexico to Canada. It'll begin about 11 AM in Texas and exit the USA about 5 PM in Maine.
The last eclipse in the U.S. was August 21, 2017 and the next one will be August 23, 2044.
Back in 1974 a book by Gribbin and Plagemann named The Jupiter Effect predicted that since in 1979 all the planets in our solar system would be aligned on the same side of the solar system, the gravitational pull would create world catastrophes.
Well, the planets did fascinatingly all align in a straight line but nothing happened. Zero. No apocalypse happened.
But the authors had a best-selling book for a few years.
I mention that because we'll be seeing a lot written about the coming eclipse. I just read one that said this could be a sign from God because the eclipse will pass over 7 locations in the USA named "Ninevah." Help me Rhonda!
Ok, the Bible does say the sun, moon and stars are for "signs."
Then God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night, and let them be for signs... Gen. 1:14a
And the Hebrew word "signs" means:
226. owth (in the sense of appearing); a signal (literally or figuratively), as a flag, beacon, monument, omen, prodigy, evidence, etc.:—mark, miracle, (en-)sign, token.
And we have this in Luke:
“There will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth dismay among nations, in perplexity at the roaring of the sea and the waves," Luke 21:25
But that is about signs IN THE TRIBULATION. We won't be here.
I'm of the belief that if God is going to give us a sign, we won't have to figure it out because it will be so obvious. The parting of the Red Sea was a sign. Egypt's 10 plagues were a sign. God stopping the sun, making one day about 30-35 hours long was sign (Josh 10:30).
And the Rapture will be a sign. But I don't see any reason to get our panties in a wad over this eclipse. If you can watch it, with special lenses so you don't go blind, it'll be fun to see.
