We're having an incredible time on our Biblelands Cruise. So far we've visited Athens, Crete, Santorini, Ephesus, Mykonos and Philippi. Here are a couple of pics...
We saw the Parthenon without scaffolding for the first time in 25 years. And it's only a 30-day window before scaffolding goes back up again for 10 more years.
The Greek island of Santorini has a quite beautiful mountaintop ... you can see the path up to the top. But if you zoom in you can see the tram we rode up on the far top left of the pic.
This is quite the view from our table at dinner on Santorini!

Believers who take the Bible literally are excited about likely being on earth during the next dispensational change.
The next dispensational change is, of course, when Jesus removes the Church from the earth, brings His wrath for 7 years, and then comes to reign as King of earth for 1000 years.
However, those who don’t take the Bible literally have to worry about the end of the world.
Tucker Carlson recently spent two hours talking about the end of the earth in an interview with a lady. But the theology they espoused is compromised by their belief in Amillennialism.
Amillennialists don't believe in the Rapture or a 1000-year earthly reign of Jesus. They believe the earth just burns up.
That, of course, is not what the Bible says is coming next.
So I didn't include a link to watch that interview because Pre-Millennial/Pre-Tribulational Believers don’t have to worry about Armageddon and the end of the world.
We take the Bible literally in its pure dispensational context.
When the Bible refers to Jesus’ 1000-year reign six times in six straight verses, we believe it (Rev. 20:2-7).
So the end of the world is not close. And here are five good Biblical reasons Believers don't have to worry.
1) The end of the world is over 1007 years away. The 7-year Tribulation and 1000-year reign of Jesus is still to come.
2) Armageddon is at the end of the 7-year Tribulation, and Believers miss the whole thing.
3) Jesus said just before the Rapture that our economy would be normal, social events would be normal, building/construction would be normal, and there would be plenty of food and drink.
“For the coming of the Son of Man will be just like the days of Noah. For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark [Noah represents the Church], and they did not understand until the flood came and took them all away; so will the coming of the Son of Man be." Matt. 24:37-39
“And just as it happened in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: they were eating, they were drinking, they were marrying, they were being given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all.
"It was the same as happened in the days of Lot: they were eating, they were drinking, they were buying, they were selling, they were planting, they were building; but on the day that Lot went out from Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven and destroyed them all. It will be just the same on the day that the Son of Man is revealed.[Rapture]" Luke 17:26-30
4) God promised to rescue us before His wrath is unleashed.

5) Believers are not to worry! Worrying is sin. Trust the Lord, He's got this!
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Phil. 4:6
So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Matt. 6:34
So the main reason we have nothing to worry about is because when we do take our last breath on earth, or are Raptured, we win! Christians don't die, they just change places.

We’re witnessing the early stages of a global confidence collapse — not in precious metals, but in the paper system that’s been used to suppress them for half a century.
For decades, the global financial order has been built on promises — paper contracts, derivative bets, and fiat currencies backed by nothing but confidence.
Gold and silver have been deliberately suppressed through this paper system because their true value would expose just how hollow the modern financial structure has become.

As long as no one asks for delivery, the illusion can continue. But the moment enough people demand physical metal — like depositors in a bank run — the system unravels.

Bridgewater Associates founder Ray Dalio stated on Friday that gold has started replacing some U.S. Treasury holdings as the riskless asset for investors, amid a continued surge in the yellow metal’s prices.
Most people make the mistake of thinking of gold as a metal rather than as the most established form of money, and they think of fiat money as money rather than debt and they think that fiat money will be created to prevent debt defaults.
That's because most people have never lived with gold being the most fundamental money, and they haven't studied the debt-gold-money cycles that have occurred in almost all countries over almost all time.
However, anyone who has seen gold-money and debt-money evolve over time has a different view. In other words, to me gold is money like cash—over time, it has had about the same real return (1.2%)—because it doesn't produce anything.
But like cash, it has buying power that can be used to create money that is borrowed and enable people to do things like build money-making businesses that are owned via stocks.
If those stocks are solid and produce the cash needed to pay back the loans, then of course the stocks are better. When they can’t pay back the loans and fiat money is printed to prevent the default problems, then non-fiat money (gold) is most valued.
So, to me, gold is money like cash, except unlike cash it can’t be printed and devalued. It’s a good diversifier to stocks and bonds when bubbles pop and/or when people and countries don’t accept each other's credit, like in wars.
In other words, to me gold is the most sound fundamental investment rather than a metal. Gold is money like cash and short-term credit, but unlike cash and short-term credit which creates debt, it settles transactions—i.e., it pays for things without creating debt and it pays off debt.
It has been obvious to me for some time that the relative supplies and demands of debt-money and gold-money were shifting against debt money’s value relative to gold money’s value.
As for the right price for debt money to be relative to gold money, given the ratios of supplies and demands for each of them, and given the sizes of bubbles that could go pop, I know that I want to keep my piece of gold that’s part of my portfolio.
I think that those who are wrestling between having no gold at all or a small amount of gold are making a mistake.
