That’s hardly a coincidence!
So some Christians logically believe it’s possible that the next big Christian event (the Rapture/Removal/Rescue of Christian Believers from earth) will happen on the next Jewish Feast, which is the Feast of Rosh Hashanah.
Rosh Hashanah is a 2-day celebration of gathering and blowing of trumpets. In fact it’s also referred to as the Feast of Trumpets. The Jews blow a trumpet 100 times over the 2-day celebration.
At the end of the two-day celebration is the final last blowing of the trumpet—one long continuous blast at sunset.
This last trumpet blowing is referred to in two Bible verses that deal with the Rapture.
Rapture is when, in the blink of an eye, millions of Christians disappear into thin air:
…in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet; for the trumpet will sound, and … we will be changed. 1Cor. 15:52
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air…
— 1Thes. 4:16-17
Therefore it’s quite possible that the Rapture will happen at sunset on Rosh Hashanah, whichever year it takes place.
This year the last trumpet blowing on Rosh Hashanah happens on Friday October 4 at 6:19 PM in Jerusalem, which is 8:19 AM Pacific Time.
To celebrate the Feast of Trumpets with Israel, and possibly the Rapture of the Church Age Saints, CompassTV will be live online beginning at 8 AM.
We’ll begin with a brief explanation of the Rapture and Rosh Hashanah and how they could be tied together.
We’ll pause at 8:15 with a live shot of the wailing wall and wait for the trumpet sound at 8:19.

We don’t know for sure the day of the Rapture…it could happen at any time. It could be 10 or 20 years away. But we watch the prophetic signs in earnest each year at Rosh Hashanah.
